I think they'd be like subatomic spren. Lightwards would be a grouchspren, Nighthound would be a creepyspren, Funtimes would be a glitterspren, Lucentia would be a complainingspren, Timeport would be a murderspren….

I'd say I'd be forced to summon a highstorm with my uncovered safehand for that, but there's enough hypocrisy in that sentence to keep Sadeas fueled for a year. (That is what he runs on, right? Pure hypocrisy?)

This, I think, is the key difference between what I saw of the Warriors board and this forum. From the rules I read there, they seem to assume that most people are fragile, mean-spirited morons who will dissolve into a rage-filled puddle of tears if they happen to see something that they don't like on some level. The mods here, however, assume most members are good people who are here to discuss life and an author they happen to like. They assume misunderstandings will happen, and fights too, but that they can be resolved (usually) without resorting to drastic action. And if I've learned one thing during my time on teh interwebs, it's that when people make assumptions about others, they almost always turn into self-fulfilling prophecies. In other words, you mods are awesome.

I wonder if this retconned-in Epic could draw at least a few new characters into the story. Maybe Autumn gives him/her a positive evaluation, allowing Vondra to send him/her out to get their old team back together and confront one or more of the newcomers?

And he'd probably be thrilled to whip up a Plexiglas-and-steel cage for a disgraced City Guard Epic. At least it's more fun work than homework. Take your time. School might suck, but it's important, and so is sleep.

Or have Autumn visit him/her in solitary accompanied by a fair number of guards, perhaps evaluating them from behind a foot of Plexiglas, speaking through a radio? That way they could hustle her out of there if things got out of hand and wouldn't have to worry about how to get the Epic back to prison. I like that power set. Can weapons like knives be made out of the smoke?

We don't want the entire thing to devolve into sitcom-level shenanigans. "Honey, why did you destroy the bathroom again?" "Because you won't remodel in there! You never remodel anything!" "I have a city to run!" "You've never cared about my feelings!" One of Autumn's patients would make sense, if he's trying to stay sane. Then she could be the one to approach him and delay her next meeting with Shiny Sparkle.

I think it's less because she got shipped and more because of who she got shipped with. I mean, c'mon. He pulls McMuffins out of his pocket? He's obviously out to poison our children with trans fats and promote an unhealthy, inactive lifestyle!

I'm already finding it fascinating, and I'd definitely be willing to adopt either the Epic in question or a member of their team.

Having the Epic be in solitary for using his/her powers too much and suffering the consequences would actually be a pretty plausible way of explaining their absence. There's been a lot of action in The Dalles lately, so with him/her in prison, now would be a good time for Arsenal or Vondra to mention this Epic, perhaps leading into a discussion of whether or not they're desperate enough to let this Epic out.
