Still looking for players? One of my D&D games is ending so I might be interested, depending on how much commitment you expect. (I see the bit about a post a day, just never done pbp outside of Storium before.)

[OOC: I have let the clock bearer know, and they promised to check their PMs before rollover so this should be fine. Villagers, you may want to go wild with the scanning tonight. The clock will be used. Edited to add: I am, unfortunately, going to be doing what I must, which may or may not involve a Line of Forbiddance, as I've been hoarding chalk ]

[OOC: Or what happens when your colleagues do not do work for three days and you have to cover for all of them :/ I'm most confident of my high-tier Village reads at the moment, so if I am to do re-evaluation, I'd look at everything below, I suppose. Edited to add: Question for everyone. Would you want the clock to be used tonight or not? As I said, I'm in contact with the third party and they can also read the thread If we have another mislynch tomorrow, we're going to be dealing with 4-strength WCs which isn't great. On the other hand, I don't know if people want to be freed up for actions tonight. Something to be said for that.]

LAST NIGHT Duncan brushed chalk dust from his hands. Time to become Iron Duncan again, he thought. The terror of the Rithmatic dueling circuit, back at the academy he'd attended. Duncan had never been the most versatile or sharp attacker, but time and time again, his defense had proven to be a hard wall that challengers had broken themselves on. And this time, he'd chosen his position carefully, even as he started to outline his defenses. He had the advantage of time: hours before nightfall, when the Forgotten among them would strike. Duncan was many things, but in this, he was not a fool. Evan had claimed the gun instead, and Duncan had stocked up on chalk. He felt certain they would come for him. It was the reasonable thing to do. After all, they'd already come for TJ, and for Wei. He wished Evan a keen eye and a steady aim, even as he continued with the beginnings of the Taylor Defense. His hands were shaking, and Duncan was forced to begin again and again. Concentrate, he told himself. He felt a prickle between his shoulder-blades, as though he was being watched. Just nerves, probably. He badly wanted a drink. He'd promised Frederick. And that meant he had to stay alive. The Taylor Defense. Once, Duncan had been able to produce it swiftly and surely, working under pressure. Now, he scuffed it out and began again and again. "A circle won't save you, you know," Wyatt said, leaning against the wall. "Defense alone never won a fight, soldier." Duncan pressed his lips together in a tight line. "I know," he said, tersely. "But someone alive in the right place might." That was why Wyatt had done what he had, and so had Kessen and Tory, Duncan had worked that out later. On those many long nights when the guilt seeped in. They'd used him to silence the more vocal among their squad and the other squads, the ones who might've objected, the ones who might've said something, or stopped the Forgotten. That was why Matt had died. Why Dig was buried. Why Rlint had been murdered. Why Chase had been executed. So many names. So many fellow Rithmatists, all fallen on Nebrask. And now he was here once again, and the enemy was still among them. He began to add chalklings to the bindpoints. "You could have saved TJ," Wyatt added, casually. "But you were too busy trying to protect yourself." "I know," Duncan snapped. He would have to carry that guilt with him, too. More blood on his hands. Maybe one day, Nebrask would claim him too. And as much as Duncan had promised Frederick, he couldn't help but feel it would be what he deserved. In the end, we all get just what we deserve, he thought, bitterly. Even if they came for him. Even if he held them off for this night. "Your line is crooked." Duncan glared at Wyatt, but thankfully, he could still fix it. The Line of Forbiddance went down, straight and clean. Just like old times. Just like back when he'd thought they were on the same side. That Wyatt was simply a senior soldier, one of those who'd seen enough crap and knew how things worked. He'd learned from the squad. From Wyatt, from Kessen, who was too damned fast for his own good. From Tory, who showed him a few tricks with chalklings. Duncan had wanted it to be real. But instead, he had been nothing more than their knife. He would hold out the night. Or he would die trying. He'd promised Frederick, after all. [OOC: Something came up at work and I'll probably not be present at all from now to rollover. Fair warning. Keep in mind we still have bribes in play, so be careful of votejacking. And please remember your orders + someone please get a Map. I've put mine in already.]

[OOC: Ah, my bad — thanks for the heads-up! My personal view is we plan as though there's three since that gives us more room for error than otherwise. If less, lucky accident, if three, we won't be taken by surprise. Edited to add: H'okay. So my current reads list: Rithmatist Squad, Assemble!: This tier is my highest level of trust reads at this point. I could be mistaken - I would categorise the interpretation of this tier as 'moderately likely Village.' TJ and Archer pre-Shadowblaze were in a stronger trust read tier for me, but those days are past now, and in the past they must remain. (Hey I Just Met You, And This Is Crazy, Here's My Reads List) Rithmatists Maybe?: This tier contains/includes players I think are likely to be Village, with weak certainty. Whole Lotta Nuttin': This tier contains players I'm just not really sure about. Welcome To The House of Paranoia!: Probably my suspicions list is borked somewhere, but I'm keeping my vote on Reading for the moment.]

[OOC: Thought so, but I relooked my actions tracker. D1: 3 Buckets of Acid, only one claimed - by Araris (he used it the next Day, mind!) N1: 2 Buckets of Acid, only one claimed - by Alv (he also used it Day 2) D2: 1 Bucket of Acid, claimed by Lotus (she used it D4) N2: No Acid. D3: No Acid. N3: No Acid. D4: 2 Buckets of Acid, only one claimed - by Burnt (unused) N4: 1 Bucket of Acid, claimed by Araris (he used it D5) D5, N5, D6 - 4 Buckets of Acid. Not saying this can't be the case going forwards, but we have no Acid Buckets unaccounted for unless @Burnt Spaghetti gave away her Bucket to someone else to use D5, because D5, Burnt is logged as collecting a Lantern. I guess we could also have people surreptitiously passing to teammates during the Night, but then we'd need another Evil player on LoW at night to account for this then, I reckon. Not sure if the action economy checks out.]

[OOC: Here's some analysis of the Defense situation. We know that the Shadowblaze last Night will have been calculated on whether or not Books is a Rithmatist or a Forgotten. If Books is a Rithmatist, then our expected Defense is +1. If Books is a Forgotten, then our expected Defense is -1. So let's take a look at the basic claims on Defense that I have. I have anonymised the names except for Araris, since nothing much hinges on Araris so that it's unclear which of the two is our Specialist, as I think having the facts is important for analysis in this situation. Araris Bucket of Acid Day 5 +1 Andromeda Line of Warding+ Night 5 +2 Betelgeuse Line of Warding Night 5 +1 [Note that I annotate all specialisations as +.] Our expected Defense, at this point, assuming everyone else has been truthful, is 4. However, we have ended up with 5. @Burnt Spaghetti, could you confirm this, please? I am inclined to think everyone is truthful, because things get more complicated if they aren't, requiring potentially one or more Evil players to be also Warding and to have Warding+. I lied last Night when mentioning three Lines of Warding. (In retrospect, I should have just said two claims as it'd help us catch Evil out, depending. Oh well. Live and learn... Not my first d'oh moment this game....I'm sorry TJ ) Andromeda has claimed Warding+ to me. This is significant, because of the implications if Andromeda is lying. But more on that later. Here are the broad cases, before I begin to look at complications: [CASE #1] Books is a Rithmatist This, in my view, is the most straightforward scenario. Books is a Rithmatist, and so their holding the Shadowblaze has given us +1 to Defense. The implications are as follows: one of our Evil team likely went to use the Night Kill, presumably on me. I protected myself so it didn't get through. (Sorry guys, I promised Frederick I can't lie down and just die like that ) Another of our Evil team might have used a Removal+ Line (more on this later) to target Books - alternatively, a Villager did, because they distrusted Books. Possibly Ventyl, before Ventyl died, still holding the Shadowblaze. We don't know. I'll speculate more on this later. [CASE #2] Books is a Forgotten Here's where it gets complicated. If Books is a Forgotten, then we have an expected Defense of 3. For us to hit 5, we need 2 Lines of Warding to be added. But that gives us a problem: suppose there are three Forgotten left. (There may not be so many, this is simply a supposition - if there were two Forgotten, then one of them must have Warding+, and the other put in the kill, likely on me. This scenario entails that a Villager stole the Shadowblaze, or that Books is lying about it, or even gave it to Archer.) I think we can safely assume that one of our Forgotten put in a kill. If so, then the two other Forgotten would need to draw Lines of Warding to keep our Defense at the expected value - unless they have Warding+. This cannot be ruled out. If they do have Warding+, then just one Forgotten needs to draw the Lines, with the last free to do whatever they want. (One variant is where Books shoves the Shadowblaze to Archer, and another Forgotten draws the Lines, and yet another Forgotten makes the kill. This scenario also requires someone with Warding+ on the Evil team. Specifically, this is on top of the Warding+ Andromeda did.) Thoughts: Here I should note I don't think Andromeda is lying - if Andromeda is lying about doing a Line of Warding and Books is Forgotten, then the Forgotten need to add 4 Defense to the camp, in order for us to have numbers that match with what we're seeing. This almost necessarily entails they have two Warding specialists, or they wouldn't have enough actions. But then there's no reason for Andromeda to lie, really, in that scenario, since they're re-adding Defense anyway. If Books is a Rithmatist, and Andromeda is lying, then this might have been to try to cause alarm or frame Books for a misgrinch with one Defense than would be expected. I can't see what else Andromeda would have to gain from lying about Warding simpliciter, since this would entail Andromeda would need one to two other teammates to Ward (depending on if they had Warding+) and to also put in the kill, and potentially, steal from Books. If so, then clearly we have a rogue Warder who hasn't yet claimed, or Betelgeuse has Warding+. If you have Warded or Defended last night, please claim in thread or PM me. It would be good to sort this out. So I did a table of my thoughts, but it boils down to - whole lot of nothing, not much info, but if you want, you can check it out because I think I wargamed most of the possibilities but there's a bit too many for coherence. Note that my analysis changes if any of the Forgotten put down acid in the day - this would allow them to mess with our expected defenses and still retain the ability to act at Night. I'm going to vote on Reading for the moment. Issue is, if Reading and Lotus are Evil together, why is Reading tying Lotus with Connie D3 @Archer? This risks creating a double Evil train, which wouldn't be good for them. I'll post reads sometime. I need a break. Info Drop: Actions Taken C5 Claimed actions are italicised. I can confirm Araris's claimed action as I now have the Lantern. We also know Burnt Warded last night so she cannot have passed me her Lantern. And there is still one Lantern in the Camp Supplies so there is none unaccounted for. Thanks to Devotary, we also know that as of N4, Ventyl had only a Bribe on him. Ventyl was not recorded as collecting Chalk D5 so I presume he made a try for the Shadowblaze. As such, it is not possible that Ventyl was able to Revoke the Shadowblaze and die with it. Camp Supplies have lost three pieces of chalk, which means that of our unclaimed action pool of six players: <Mist, Devo, Reading, Lotus, Ash, Gears>, three of them took Chalk, one of them put in a Night Kill, and - if Books isn't lying - one of them stole the Shadowblaze. Here's the thing. If we assume Books was truthful about the Shadowblaze vanishing, then there are only two possibilities for the Line of Removal+ - Revocation+ will steal the item, and Vigor+, as per a clarification from Sart, will vanish the passed item from the game. In other words, if Books did not pass the Shadowblaze, then only a player with Revocation+ or Vigor+ could have stolen or removed it. This is because the Shadowblaze is not in Camp Supplies. Players Known to Have Revocation+ or Vigor+ I stress this is largely publicly known information because of who took which Book. I claim to have used a Line of Forbiddance last night, so I couldn't have taken the Shadowblaze. Books can be ruled out, because they can't have wasted chalk on themselves. Rather, Books would've just lied about it going missing. Randby has both specialisations, but claimed to have used a Line of Warding - this might have been why they claimed publicly early on, to give themselves cover for use of Revocation. Another possibility is Ash, who does have Revocation, and has publicly stated a few times his desire to acquire the Shadowblaze. This list is of course incomplete, and part of this hinges on who within the action pool of six might also have Revocation+ or Vigor+. Finally, a reminder to all: please, please someone get a map, or if you already have one, use it tonight. As Alv says, we need a constant supply of chalk and acid flowing into the camp. Finding the Forgotten is important but if we don't continue to ensure we can Ward the camp, we lose anyway.]

[OOC: I'm fond of not overdoing it on lines - one or two more lines or Acid is fine, but if we can get a bit more fine-tuned, we can get Lines of Making scans off, which might be much more helpful especially if we can catch someone making the kill. But if it comes down to it, absolutely: better to overshoot than get overrun. All the best with the tournament!]

CW: It gets a bit dark at the end, but it gets better. Think Kaladin and blackbane in WoK. Please read with caution. Edited to add: Also, as much as I'm apparently externalising my internal angst and psychological conflict in this game by appealing to what the Wyrm in my head would say (Duncan, is that you bleeding through here?), I have been duly informed by my superior in the Inquisition to clarify for everyone's benefit: "I take no responsibility and am not advising Kas on the game. This is his own stupid idea, and really, even if he was listening to me, he knows better than to do that by now." THE EDGE OF NIGHT Duncan badly wanted a drink. Wyatt smiled. Black bled into the whites of his eyes. In the gathering of dusk, he was more charcoal shadow than man. "Good soldiers follow orders," he hissed. Duncan tossed a pebble at him half-heartedly and it passed through Wyatt as if he wasn't there. Maybe he wasn't. Duncan rubbed at his eyes with the heel of his hand. He was having difficulty telling, as the days wore on and he just wanted a drink, something to numb the pain, to forget everything. To forget what Nebrask had made of him. To forget what he had done. Oh, Frederick, he thought, and he'd drunk, just a little, he supposed, but it wasn't nearly enough to cleanse the tar-black guilt from his soul and heart. He'd defended his little brother, but only half-heartedly, and now Frederick had followed him to Nebrask and to death. Another stone to lay against his soul, another charcoal smudge, and Duncan considered this the blackest and darkest. Frederick had never seemed touched by Nebrask. Duncan had never wanted this for him. And when Shimamura Sakura bore away his brother's body to offer him a decent burial, all Duncan could do was to drink from the last of the Respected Madman's stash, but it wasn't enough, and the guilt was there, and clinging to his soul, daubed in charcoal. How many more? Duncan wondered. How many more would there be? He couldn't meet Shimamura's eyes at all as she returned, even though he wanted to thank her. Someone had done right by Frederick at least, even if she, too, had called for his court-martial. Frederick, cold and still. Was this justice? Duncan, still living, still surviving, still drawing breath although he suspected he had died a very long time ago on Nebrask with the rest of his platoon. It was a shadow that had come home, someone who didn't know how to laugh, or smile. He'd left too much of himself on Nebrask, where Dig lay beneath the silent earth. Where Matt had fallen. Where Rlint had been betrayed and murdered. Where Tavi had in turn been killed as they turned upon each other as brotherhood and comradeship failed, at the end. Wyatt tsk-ed. "Did you really think you could get rid of me so easily, soldier?" he asked. "Worth a shot," Duncan grunted. He wanted to stop feeling. He wanted to die. It should have been him, and not TJ. Not Frederick. At what cost? "Rude," said Wyatt. "I'm just trying to help you." "You said that," Duncan snapped. "You always said that. Orders from the CO, you said. Good soldiers follow orders. We'd..." his vision blurred, and he realised his voice was trembling, too. "You said we'd hold the line, until the replacements came. I believed you, and I helped you murder my own squadmates!" And there it was. The first sin, the blood on the earth of the garden, the first murder, the one that stretched back all the way in a carmine chain of blood and betrayal to the first life when brother slew brother (a Ghostblood snaps off an arrow from his Shardplate, wisps of Stormlight leaking from the shattered gems; afraid and ready to die at the same time, a dying darkeyes collapses on wartorn streets from five stabs to his back, still reaching out to his assailant with the last of his strength, still trusting, still—) "Humans," Wyatt said. "Predictable. You never wanted to kill, so all I needed to do to tirelessly root out loyal soldiers was to tell you what you wanted to hear. Orders from the CO. Duty. Do it." He knelt down. "You know the truth? You were afraid. You wanted meaning, structure, order. A tidy story, in which you were the hero. I gave you everything you wanted, Duncan. And now you cry about how that's what you never wanted?" "Go 'way," Duncan whispered. "Go away, go away, GO AWAY!" The last words came out in a strangled shriek, as he hefted the empty spirits bottle. "I have a glass bottle and I'm not afraid to use it!" "Will you?" Wyatt asked. "I don't think you know what to do without me, Duncan. I think you need me. I think you're still afraid. And that's why you hesitated. Two Forgotten, dead, but the last you let live." Kessen and Tory. He did what he had to, but then Wyatt had woken up and—had he hesitated? Was this his fault? (It was, because Wyatt had been kind, Wyatt had given him direction, and Wyatt had been the mentor that a fresh young Rithmatist on his first tour on Nebrask needed, and Wyatt had been the perfect combination of duty and good humour that young Duncan, old Duncan had needed, and Duncan had trusted him and believed him and it was his hands that held the chalk and he would never, ever be free of that sin.) "Go away," Duncan whispered, hoarsely. He squeezed his eyes shut, and when he opened them again, the camp was empty. Talking to himself again. He rubbed at his eyes, until the blurriness went away, but he was shaking and he couldn't seem to stop. He stared at the bottle in his hands. He'd killed before, he thought. He knew how to kill. He could make it fast, or— They would come for him, the Forgotten here. They would kill him. Of course they would. He had taken down two of their own, which made him harder to set up, the way they'd set Frederick up. He didn't have to fight it. He could wait, and welcome death. And maybe... Duncan's throat choked up. Maybe that would be a form of justice, too. If I die, let me die, he thought. Let him live, he'd prayed to the Master, for Frederick. But the Master had done nothing. The Master had heeded no cries, that first tour on Nebrask, and Duncan's faith had died inside him. "Stop it," someone said, and Duncan knew that voice, and it cut through him like a knife, and he was grieving and raw all over again. He squeezed his eyes tightly shut. No. He could not—would not—did not deserve to—look. "I came to Nebrask for you, you know." "Shouldn't have," Duncan managed, with a strangled sob. "Well, I did," said Frederick. "And I don't hold this against you. I wish you could've saved me—" "I don't think I could have." "I wish you tried," Frederick said, and Duncan's heart broke all over again. "But it's done, and I think they would've distrusted me anyway, if I'd lived." But he hadn't. And now Duncan was all alone again. "Don't go," he whispered, when there was silence. He opened his eyes, cautiously. Just a crack. Frederick was smiling at him, and Duncan's vision blurred with renewed tears. "Make me wait, alright?" Frederick said. "I'm not in a hurry, so you shouldn't be, either. I always looked up to you, you know. All the stories you'd tell me in your letters, about Nebrask." "I'm no hero," Duncan croaked. "Just...broken." Just a coward. He couldn't save his platoon, and he couldn't save Frederick, either. I wish you'd tried. "You don't have to be," Frederick said. "We've got enough heroes, I think. We could do with fewer of them. And this whole camp is full of soldiers." "Then what do you want from me?" Duncan begged. "Live," said Frederick, and it was both a cruelty and kindness. "Forgive yourself. Remember us. And Ward the camp. Be their watcher, since I could not." "Okay," Duncan said, and he ignored the prickle of tears in his eyes. "I'll try." And then he was alone again, with only the ghosts in his head and the scars on his soul, and an empty bottle in his hands and two more on the floor, still stinking of alcohol. He wanted nothing more than to lie here and give up, but he'd given Frederick his word. How long can I keep doing this, Frederick? Duncan pleaded. He thought he could see Frederick again, shaking his head. Make me wait, Frederick had said. Duncan supposed he could do that. He took the next step.

[OOC: Sensible. If you're Village, your LoM+ is pretty good for nailing down actions and inconsistencies, so not being out of chalk makes sense.] [OOC: I agree with this, but I also see the game as being divided into two blocs of connections right now. You, Ventyl, Gears and Burnt are connected by suspicions of/targeting Striker, which means that if TUO was clumsily trying to implement a team plan to frame Striker (by sheeping), you come out more suspicious for jumping on the provided opportunity, as compared to first mover Gears. I am also somewhat suspicious of your narrow vote diversity, that being said. And it hasn't escaped me that this does leave you as our sole public Lantern bearer. I haven't played with Evil Araris since LG15b despite busing jokes, so I don't have your meta to draw on, only the tactical picture - who set up the Striker frame, who is pouncing on it. You would have come across better for busing TUO immediately, yes, and this is where I agree with you and think it makes sense. But busing TUO wouldn't necessarily have led to the desired outcome, either - painting Striker with suspicion needed more work than just sheeping, IMO, and your arguments helped to go there beyond just TUO sheeping Striker. At the same time, I suppose the more I think about it, the more I feel like this would make Ventyl come out even more suspicious of the three of you, for jumping on Striker and then immediately backpedalling when challenged and jumping on TUO. But then there's also Burnt, who PMed me during D4 to ask why Striker was still alive, which could've been opportunistic framing as well. I'll need to keep thinking as the Turn isn't over yet. I'd mildly associate Devo with this bloc for leaning towards the non-Evil Araris side of things at the moment. The second bloc of connections would be Striker, Reading, and potentially, Books - Books is tangential because they fall to the 'Araris suss' side of the divide. Reading is connected by defense/framing of Striker as Village, and there's obviously Striker there. (I don't include myself in my analysis because that kind of messes things up.) Not impossible Team Evil is using catspaws or just sitting back and let us go at each other, but the issue is that it's really hard to tell which is going on, and we don't really want to LAFO this, for obvious reasons. But I think given the work Team Evil took to set this up, at least one player in the bloc of seven is Evil, which...yeah, probably not rocket science :/ Logic I think would dictate to just do the Striker train - if Striker's Village, then we need to look at those within the bloc of four who were running with the frame. Of all of them, I lean most Village on Gears, which frankly isn't saying much. Not much to go on for Burnt, still have difficulty deciding on Araris, Ventyl, and Devo. I'm probably overthinking it at this point. The issue with doing the Araris train is I feel like it's not as informative, to be frank. Say Araris is Evil. Is this enough for us to conclude about Striker's allegiances, or whether Striker was being set-up? After all, our current grinch is heavily D4-based. I guess, maybe? But Araris's known reputation for busing complicates things - if it was anyone else opportunistically jumping on the Striker train, I guess I wouldn't make this assessment, And yet my gut doesn't feel like Striker is Evil enough, but my gut could be a Darkfriend. Frailty, thy name is Kasimir. I know you told me so, Wyrm >> I'm doing the thing, don't @ me. And now I'm rambling to a ghost. God, this game is taking its psychological toll on me >> Sart, I'm sorry for changing my mind so many times On the bright side, I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing, at least?]

[OOC: Here's my issue with that: if they were teammates together, why not just have Books stay silent (rather than PM-claiming to TJ) and have TUO claim they Warded the camp, which is anyway consistent with TUO's D3 stance that Warding is more important than item use? For that matter, why not just have TUO Ward and Books put in the kill, since Books is/was unlikely to get hit by a scan at that point in time? I'd bet the Forgotten are extremely worried about crab and Making and Making+ scans, which is obviously something Village doesn't need to think/care about (except maybe crab, I suppose, if we're trying to hide important items.) The main way I could see this working out is if Team Evil decided to bus TUO rather than have TUO use the Map N3, but that seems a bit of an overreaction given they just lost Connie, and that TUO was under some suspicion but that's hardly impossible to survive either, especially if TUO would just use the Map, or claim Warding again. Then again, maybe here's another alternative - TUO Warded, in case of a Making scan, since he was drawing attention anyway, and Books put in the kill, but claimed the Ward to TJ for trust. A bit too many moving parts for my liking through, since the probability that TUO or Books gets scanned is higher than the probability just one of them does. It's not impossible, but it just seems odd to me. Edited to add: To be more explicit, I feel like a lot of the flak TUO attracted on D4 boils down to a combination of: his previous reluctance to use the Map (can't be helped), forgetting an action, and that opportunistic vote after Striker's. And Illwei definitely forgot to put in any actions at all C1, so while it's suspicious, it's not impossible either... Edited to add #2 because I keep getting distracted by the sunbird - the point being that both the opportunistic vote (talked to death) and the claim of forgetting were avoidable. Books being TUO's teammate seems like it would've allowed them to avoid one suspicion indicator on TUO. Strange they did not take it, if so. Edit #3: I'm gonna regret this, aren't I? [OOC: I'm starting to think I make bad decisions. Anyway. @Archer, mention of the Thief definitely sounds odd. But also, as of N3, STINK told me he had 3 Bribes and had tried going for the clock in the Day but failed. We know he claimed a Bribe D4, though there were no more valuables in the Camp Supplies N4 and staying longer only put him in more danger of losing via death. Anyway, given those constraints — STINK could trust Striker would make good on his public claims to be giving a Bribe, or he could simply take things in his own hands by stealing the clock since he knew who had it and that his action would beat giving — and might fail anyway. From what I understand, it was actually win-win, though STINK might not know that, since STINK would have exited the game no matter what he stole. On the Araris point — yes, and I would like people who are going for the lanterns to publicly declare this to avoid a pile-up. Depending on Araris alone given the silence of the other lantern holders ain't good. But we need as many people on the Shadowblaze as possible. Meanwhile I will roll the dice with the gun. Best case we get a second grinch, worst case we deny Evil a second kill.]
