I would like to announce that my Creative Writing class involves a lot more writing then I expected it to, probably should have considered that before I signed up for the class...

I would like to announce that I got this totally sweet award bar in my siggy now!

While I like this theory I find it hard to believe that Harmony is JUST a name, even if the Ruin Shard and the Preservation Shard are still seperate and distinct, the fact that he holds them both is going to have significant importance in the long run, Shardholders don't start out completely as one with their Shards intent, over time that intent forces it self on the holder. The fact that Sazed hold two shards of such seperate intent means that the intent forced upon him is going to change the very fundemental aspects of his personality. I haven't yet read the AoL sample chapters but I'd be willing to bet that the reason he picked to be called Harmony is because that is the intent that he felt being forced upon him. In conclusion, I believe that Ruin and Preservation are still two seperate shards, but that it doesn't really matter in the long run because the two intents impressed on one person will force them to work together and in Harmony therefore I'd be willing to say Harmony is much more than just a name.

The fact that you just told him/her (your profile doesn't say) to stay away from general theories and then immediately posted a link to Cosmere 101 is kinda amusing, they only real spoilers in that thread are Mistborn related so you shouldn't have much of a problem with it. They are MAJOR spoilers for how HoA ends so if you hadn't finished it I would warn you to stay away, But you have finished it so go right on ahead and read it. Stay away from the other Gen Theories though. I do not love maths, I feel like a minority on these boards sometimes because of it. As you love WoK so much I'm going to give you this quote, "Adonalsium. Have you ever heard the term?" If you have Go check out Chaos/Eric's theories sometime, they're gonna blow your mind! If you haven't heard the term, whatever you do don't read them until you haven read ALL of Brandon's books (by all I mean everything except WoT and Alcatraz). Actually stay away from the General Theories board as a whole until you finish all of the books. And if you HAVE finished them (which as a Sandersonist I would hope you have) get on over there and prepare to be enlightened with one of the coolest things in fantasy literature. I feel as though I'm forgeting somthing... OH! Yes I remember now! Here, have a cookie, Kchan baked them but I'm determined to make sure every new member that posts an intro thread recieves one.

I think what's in the Cosmere 101 OP could be a good baseline for topics that would need to be covered in the first episiode.

I think there was a podcast planned a while back, there used to be a Shardcast section of the forums but it seems to have vanished. anyways, if you did end up doing this I would love to help with it.

About that 2nd Lerasium bead, I don't ever remember a 2nd bead being mentioned anywhere I can think of, however I think I might know what Chaos is referring to about the speculation. When Preservation pointed the bead out to Vin she origanally thought she was supposed to burn it, He stopped her from doing so and instead got the point across that she was supposed to give it to Elend, Brandon did say however that if Vin were to have burned Lerasium, because she was already Mistborn there would have been interesting results. If there WAS a 2nd Lerasium bead (which there very well could have been) then it is entirely possible that Hoid has it, it was the alternate ending he posted to WoA on his site that he said had some intresting clues about Adonalsium, in that ending Vin sees a trail of footprints leading to the Well that I'm 99% positive were confirmed to have been left by Hoid. what would have Hoid been looking for in there, he obviously didn't do anything with the Well, and if there was a second Learsium bead then that could have been what he needed.
