  1. Never. It's always on purpose.
  2. Wow. For one second, I thought that this asked if Tanavest was an ARBITER. I need to stop playing HALO That being said, I think that this was more Odium overpowering both Honor AND Cultivation, not Honor stepping between the two. Odium's definitely after Honor. Tanavest was likely not a mediator.
  3. But... But... According to my reputation, I'M A DAKHOR MONK! I don't want my arms to shrivel! On a serious note, good work. Makes sense, and I think it's probably correct.
  4. I really don't care. I can see how this one lines up with where Brandon want Kaladin to go. Also, it may be due to his fleshing out the regrowth surge. Either way, I'm cool with it. I got the same overall message from each one.
  5. You become a Radiant! You become a Radiant! Everybody becomes a Knight Radiant!
  6. Reading warbreaker, it sounded like Nightblood was broken from the moment he was created, so nothing to do with Shashara. And Syl's killed men before, and that hasn't broken her (as the shardblades were made to kill Voidbringers). So I think that's a no-go.
  7. That's a Regrowth Fabrial that Nale used. Regrowth =/= SIR (Stormlight Induced Regeneration).
  8. WoB stated that the 3 Lashings were specific to Windrunners. Skybreakers may be able to do 1 or 2, but not all 3. I'm not sure where that WoB is, though.
  9. Actually, it's Rush music. Especially this song.
  10. Only Megan's name was related to her weakness. Since she gave the illusion of a fire epic that was on fire, nobody would think of fire as her weakness. No other epic could pull that trickery off without getting murdered immediately.
  11. Honor, Cultivation, and Odium are the 3. Honor is splintered. It is the broken ome.
  12. Yeah, it is. What Adolin did is illegal, Sadeas had not broken the law (unfortunately). Kaladin trying to punish Amaram is in line with the Skybreakers, as he actually committed murder; he killed his own men.
  13. Eshonai heard HERSELF screaming. Szeth heard OTHER people screaming. The only odious being who does that is Yelig Nar, and WoB has debunked that connection (for now, at least). There's no way Szeth had bonded a spren of any kind, he wouldn't have been made truthless. Szeth is in no way a Dustbringer. Dustbringers are the anti-skybreakers (even more so than the windrunners, I'd say). They prevent evil. Adolin killing Sadeas is an action that the Dustbringers would have encouraged (per WoB). Becoming the instrument of several bloodthirsty tyrants and assassinating random innocents is not.
  14. @Natans So, basically unobtainium. Right?
  15. And be sure to remember Shallan's excellent Memory (yes, it's capitalized). Each order has certain perks. The Edgedancers' perk is probably being awesome.
  16. I would take everything that Nale says with a slab of salt (much larger than a grain). Keep in mind that the heralds have been corrupted, so there's a good chance that he's flat out wrong (and Szeth realizing this could be what turns him into an actual skybreaker).
  17. A sword cuts. A hammer smashes. I think the better question is why Kal didn't turn it into an axe or halberd instead. That would have pretty much ended the fight immediately.
  18. Vibranium. Dalinar's going to become Captain Alethkar, Kaladin's going to become Thor, Shallan will become Scarlet Witch, and Lopen will be One-Armed Herdazian Man. On a serious note. It's probably some form of Aluminum. Brandon has already said that Aluminum has weird effects on Cosmere magic, and it's likely the unforgeable metal from Elantris (relatively low melting point).
  19. I read it as she has an energy shield, but was given the ability to project forcefields. To me, that's a new power. It would be like giving Newton the ability to create shockwaves. Similar, but very distinct.
  20. Remember that Calamity gave Sourcefield the ability to make forcefield bubbles when Regalia enhanced her. I'd say that they can get new powers. Edit: Great, when I think about Calamity giving an evil laugh, I think of this.

  22. No, I'm speculating that Jezrien's Honorblade might be absorbing parts of people's souls, similar to how Nightblood absorbs people's breaths. Not Szeth.
  23. Well, Nightblood does make the people around it get ill and nauseous. A damaged honorblade being held for so long by a single person could create insanity. That could also be part of a reason that the Stone Shamans act in such a peculiar way
  24. He's a chocolate person, and jelly doesn't mix well with chocolate. That theory's shakier than a washing machine full of a hundred epileptic monkeys. Not that I would know what that looks like.
