    I've kind of been imagining the directors talking in some kind of global teleconference, like the heads of SHIELD in The Avengers. There's no canon about the Foundation's headquarters yet, though.

    Glad to hear it, you guys. And I definitely look forward to the day when a new situation emerges and Dr. K. King can take his seat among the board of directors to discuss the fate of the world. And as far as elephant gods are concerned, I'm going to have to RAFO you.

    Good points. I hope nobody is or will be getting bored with this scenario. Though of course, if everybody becomes unanimously sick of it, I have ways of cutting it short.

    Probably not. We're 173 posts in and I've only posted three scenario updates. If we embarked on a full-scale war, this thread would reach Question levels of enormousness. If open war breaks out over multiple continents, the Foundation will be dissolved and its directors will be returned to lead the war efforts of their respective nations. That will be counted as an end to this scenario. (Without giving anything away, I will say that this is a fairly straightforward scenario at its heart. I can't predict how many more updates will be required to resolve it, but at the rate we've gone so far I doubt we'll need another ten pages. Who can say for sure, though?)

    Analysis of YouTube videos he posted through his account concludes that if his voice is being artificially reproduced, then there's no clear sign of it. His voice sounds shaken, but organic.

    Here's what I hope will be a tricky one: A race of vaguely humanoid creatures scry into the human world via computer screens incorporated into their bodies. They inhabit a landscape devoid of biodiversity, surveyed by a giggling Sun and governed by a mysterious feminine voice that dictates all aspects of the creature's lives.

    Does about one and a half square miles sound reasonable? That's about the size of another town with a similar population density. Most of the elephants are centered around a barn that's just outside of town, though, bordering a swamp.

    Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying this. Some realism must be sacrificed for prose. I won't give any indication whether or not your speculation is correct. But I will try to be more careful with my word choices next time, both to keep from letting pertinent pieces of information slip and to spare you from chasing down wild rabbit trails. For the sake of your slow GM: Are you currently voting on the plan that involves attempting to track the phones, and then sending in an assault team armed with LRADs? Also, those of you in the pro-assault camp: should this team employ lethal or non-lethal weaponry, and under what circumstances?

    They're perfect. Only mildly related, but a couple of weeks ago I actually wrote two pages of a potential HP fanfiction about gremlins. Which is why I couldn't be trusted to ponify them, because mine are rebellious house-elves that shout "Vive la Revolution!" and wear revolutionary insignia.

    Nope. Not that the Foundation's heard about, at any rate. Your satellites pick up no sign of anyone leaving the barn, apart from a few elephants that drift in and out with no visible pattern
