What else is there to say? It is the last section of Words of Radiance. You know what's coming. You know Alyx will freak. And stress about Renarin until she seems him... Look, I'm not going to spoil it. Enjoy.

There will be one more Splintercast tomorrow, one that's a whole book wrap-up, but other than that, we're done!

Did you listen to all of Splintercast? Give us some feedback!

Oh, Chapter 89. My dear sweet darling... the moment when I realized what all you had gone through in this book and I was so emotionally strung out already that it just snapped what little self control I had. I really needed to hug Renarin while reading this.

And there's a reason that I tend to go for the throat on people who don't appreciate what Renarin went through this book like light above he is so strong and your faves could never and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaurg RENARIN NEEDS TO BE APPRECIATED AT ALL COSTS.

*starts crying again*

...I told myself I wasn't allowed to listen to these again, dangit. Here we are.

Another Glimpse of Feather: "I renounce the Shallarin ship."

I have since re-taken it up again, thanks to the wonders of Kogiopsis. That explanation is in the comment on the last Splintercast though. Remember these are a few months old.

For anyone who is wondering (probably no-one), from the start of the Szeth section to the end of chapter 88 Feather says "What?" a grand total of 23 times :P

Oh and Feather, in the immortal words of wit "That one is stronger than you think."

Once I would have struggled to understand how someone could get that emotional about a fictional character, Frozen cured me of that.

Edit: Now that I have finished listening to the last one:

Thankyou for recording these Feather, and for your part Chaos, it was a very enjoyable ride and it was very interesting hearing someone else's reactions.

(I figure we almost certainly will get at least one Renarin point of view in Stones Unhallowed now that Brandon no longer needs to conceal Glys.)

Ok first time ever posting, been coming to this site many years the cosmere theories have always been awesome. Anyway never listened to the podcasts, then I started listening to this one.

First it was awesome, listening to genuine reactions to a book I love by someone who knows cosmere was fascinating, hilarious, frustrating and great. Half of your reactions Feather were exactly what I remember feeling, just more clearly articulated, and then Renarin would show up and well...damnation ??????wut hu? what just happened? Oh and so frustrating when you haven't picked up a plot point and start asking yourself bout it. I was screaming at my monitor and I just don't do that.

So yea it was awesome heart breaking and really funny Feather and Chaos thank you.

P.s I've always thought Shallan and Renarin will end up together now that Renarin's Truthspren and Shallan Liespren (sry crptics) perfect opposites/complimentary, they will end up together.

PPs that break between posts was just...can't even talk about it.

First off props for finishing this,I would have hit one recording problem and said "STORM THIS I'M JUST FINISHING THE BOOK." So thanks for holding in there, these were surprisingly entertaining and have helped lead me to the path of Renarin.

See you next book :D

The bit with Nightblood was priceless "What? What? What? No..." and "What happened to Vasher?" (oh I don't know, maybe he is on vacation?) and Nightblood the book is going to be jumping back in the timeline, given what Brandon has said about the plot.

The scene with Adolin and Sadeas, also priceless, you were very calm, almost disinterested and I'm thinking "oh man what's she going to do?" and then you're like "dang"

"I'm sorry for sobbing a while there" It's fine, its not like we were expecting anything different.

I was expecting a more dramatic "Jasnah lives!" reaction, but as you said you were pretty drained after that Renarin reveal.

Ars Arcanum - I say it the same way, so obviously we are right

No more dead Kholins!

Thank you so much for making these.  I thoroughly enjoyed them.  Now counting on more of the same for all future Brandon books  :-)

You have a storms take you list??

It's like Arya's list in Game of Thrones, but less sociopathically terrifying.

Awesome finale. Thanks so much for sharing, Feather. Thanks for all the work you did. And thank you as well, Chaos.

I do hope you will tell us what Brandon told you about Renarin's first week in Urithiru. If you can't that's okay, but it would be nice.

I do believe you are underestimating Feathers sociopathic-ness, she is the Fandom Monster for a reason.

I really enjoyed these, but when you...broke down, it made me feel guilty for enjoying the book and not being as obsessed about Renarin as you. But I do agree he is the best character. You should feel proud.

Thank you Feather. These were great. I hope you have fully recovered from the end. Personally I think Shallan will go rogue at least for a while so stay skeptical. I say ship Rusharin she will leave the ardentia  when they persecute him for seeing the future.

I would like to tell you all a lovely story entitled "Feather is a dork who forgot about all of the things she meant to ask Brandon and therefore didn't." I think I managed to get some friends to ask later on in the signings, and they said that someone took care of him, but I don't think we got many details.

I did get some interesting info at the signing though, which will be revealed in the 1 hour sum up.

*cackles* I've told a few people. But yes, this one I've been saving until the very end.

Also, I still like that my first reaction to the Nightblood thing was to run to Eric and be like "I really hope Vasher's not dead!" only to have him laugh at me and say "Oh, you didn't see Vasher in WoR?"

And then he explained the Zahel thing and I felt like a dumb.

WRT Darkness being a Herald, I was actually not surprised by that one.

I had read the Lift chapter when it came out early.  Then when the book was released, I got to the interlude where he finds and kills the healer proto-Radiant guy (too lazy to look up the name at the moment), and I thought, "Hey, that's the same Inspector Javert guy from the other interlude, isn't it?"

And then I thought, "He's hunting people down in an extremist perversion of the ideal of Justice.  Now, we've got Shalash destroying works of art, and she's supposed to be the Herald of Creativity.  And so the Herald of Justice is... *flip to back of book, look at Ars Arcanum* Argh, it's not there! *look on the Coppermind* Nalan.  OK, so I bet this guy is Nalan."

It would not surprise me, as the series continues, to find the other fallen Heralds engaging in activities that embody their traditional virtues either taken to horrible extremes or inverted (betrayed?) in some terrible way.
