Okay okay so we try to eliminate 2 elims by creating an e-e train that's.... easier said than done plus elims could hammer and win so this only works if elims are inactive *sigh*

Quinn The only way for there to actually be a chance of winning this is for there to only be 3 more elims.

And yeah I forgot this game existed for a solid couple of days, sorry about that : P All the stuff I've gotten from scanning: C1: scanned Gears (no role) C2: scanned Randby (no role) (yes I lied and said I was blocked because I didn't want to make it obvious to the elims that there doesn't seem to be a village IA) C3: scanned Gears (village) C4: scanned Devo (doctor--I submitted the order before she claimed and forgot to move it after : P) C5: scanned Biplet (Investigator)

Quinn I never outed myself to the thread for obvious reasons, but unfortunately I'm out in the open now, so I guess this means bad news for me . I will not be revealing who I've scanned so far, because I don't want to out people in the thread, but I've not found an elim. Quinn outed Gears and confirmed herself Investigator early on, which I assume was to gain village cred. Also, why didn't you scan Randby twice? Considering she's been voted on a bunch, knowing her alignment would be helpful. Lying about being brigged and then getting angry when people ask if you're brigged + getting angry about getting brigged isn't a good look. Also, Quinn, why out Randby as having no role? My plan originally was to hit people who were more likely to make it to endgame with a single scan for the first few cycles, so that I'd have a higher chance of being able to reveal a crucial person's alignment later on. But once TJ caught me and you convinced me to say whether I'd been Brigged or not, that sorta went out of the window : P @Biplet I was frustrated that people asked precisely because I hadn't been Brigged. If I had been, I'd have had no reason to lie because it would reveal nothing to the elims that they didn't presumably already know. But saying I wasn't Brigged would tell the elims that A. I was one step closer to confirming someone's alignment and B. if there was a Brigger, they weren't protecting me. So I lied to protect myself because I didn't really have a choice. I outed Randby because it's endgame and you guys were asking for my scan results.

C1- Scanned Archer (engineer) C2- Was going to scan Archer, changed to Illwei (no role) when it looked like he would win the exe C3- scanned Illwei (village) C4- scanned Randby (no role) C5- scanned Randby (village)
Mat he/him Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Hmm. I like Bip's list more than Quinn's; something about just... not scanning for alignments doesn't exactly sit right with me :P. But I also trusted Quinn more than Bip before today. Experience I'd probably vote one of them if it got close enough, but I'm content enough with this for now. There's the question of if the opportunity for a tie came up, would we want to do that? One one hand, it's almost guaranteed to hit an elim (or it would at least make logical sense for it to, unless the elims forgot about the Records Room or something) but on the other if there is an elim in Bip/Quinn getting it close to a tie is basically suicide.

Me too tbh Disregarding my gut read against him because that probably isn't a reliable standalone reason, he kinda seems like he's actively skirting discussion. Like, I get irl stuff so I don't want anyone to take it as that but he's been inactive, and then the first time he was pressured suddenly became active again, and now isn't. And decided he sussed me for no apparent reason, claimed he was going to backread to figure out why, and then... never did. At least you provided some reasoning; Exp's felt more like an attempt to get an easy sus :P. Something like that anyway. The First cycle I successfully locked up Archer, which blocked him and did nothing. Second cycle I didn't use my action. Third I successfully locked Mat into the brig. Next cycles I have either forgotten to use my ability, or used it on myself to protect myself from an attack. Let's see what happened cycle 3... Jondesu was killed, which means that mat at least didn't submit the elim kill. The VC is two on quinn and bipelt and one on myself, correct? I'm not sure what I should do with my action this turn, because I could use it as a protect but then the elims are just going to sabotage the brig, so I think it would have to be used as a role block. I have no idea who I think is elim though. That's my two cents for now though
