Trésor and Treasure aren’t the same person. Trésor is no more me than Kelsier is. The two are that weird thing that happens when two random people are born at the exact same time and look exactly alike and have the same name, despite not being related. Because of this their minds are linked like identical twins.

Yes, I actually thought about this. And yes, I’m upset about it being coopted. This was put in her bio as something unique to the character, not something everyone could use. Just like Lilli having ADHD or Hoblim being religious. If you’d wanted to use the idea you could have asked.

Foullet sighed. “Go then,” she snapped and slammed the door shut.

Trésor took the note and scowled. “The one who sent this is lying. You are from Earth; you cannot have a counterpart there.”

Her eyes narrowed as she cocked her gun. ”Or you’ve been lying all along and are not from Earth at all.”

There was a soft click as Foullet raised her hidden crossbow. “Grab her,” the chef ordered.

And every piece of fabric in the room came alive.

We live in different cities, have different names, live in different universes... ) And I didn't do it because of your character, although, now that you put it that way, it does seem like that. Also, she passed out from too much stress. Everything at once was way to much. There was too much stimulating stuff.

The whole problem started with the idea of "we're being RPd by people on earth", which made them think in that direction. Truth is right; let’s deal with this. How many versions of Earth are in this RP?

Treasure and Trésor both exist in this version of the Cosmere. Only instead of sending Treasure (Ie. my Cosmere self) to Scadrial she’s Spiritually Connected to Trésor, a GB NPC. (Kell is the character I’m actually playing.)

Since the books exist in this Cosmere’s Earth, it made sense to me that the RP would too. The people playing the RP (except for Treasure) are not us. They’re just random humans unconsciously Connecting to ongoing Cosmere events.

In my head, this is because Earth’s Shard is Insight. It makes sense to me that a passive effect of Insight’s presence is that it causes people to unintentionally Connect spiritually to random things, thereby gaining ‘insight’ into those things.

Help. Who sent the note? I'm now thinking that the metalurgist guy had something to do with the package, as she never got a vial, and someone tampered with the package so that the Ghostbloods would become suspicious...

I don't know. That might be a really, really bad idea.

For Treasure and Trésor imagine that they were born with conjoined Spiritwebs. Like magical Siamese twins.

We did retcon it. Basically, Insight causes people on Earth to randomly Connect to people in the Cosmere. Then they interpret those events without knowing they’re real. Since you’re on Scadrial, some random Sharders are Connecting to you and recording events on an RP. (They don’t know these events are happening.) Treasure discovered it by accident and thus Trésor knows (because they are spiritual Siamese twins).

Oh, and the weird feeling can have a logical explanation - the rewinding of the scene didn't completely erase it, which means there might be a weird, momentary feeling from the other timeline creeping to this one. It won't remain, though, and won't really do much.

“We didn’t bring you here,” Trésor answered. “Your Shard sent you, and I doubt we can get you back until Insight allows it. As for Master Thaidakar...” She shrugged. “Who knows? There’s always another secret with him. As far as I know, he just wants to ensure you don’t mess with the plot anymore than you have.”

So, what was erased? I thought that Trésor's offhand mention of the RP wasn't, but the whole electrons microscope was. Which is to say, anything since the knock on the door.
