Eryn walked into the Temple and sat down beside the Sovereign. “Man here,” she told him. “Followed us. Is Hunter of sort. Asks about Meens.” Kelsier nodded, glancing over at the one stranger in the church. A Pathian. And he was wearing an earring which would make things so much easier. The Survivor smirked, focusing his gaze on the seeker. Then, leaving his bronze on, he burned steel. Then iron. Pewter. Tin. Zinc. Brass. Electrum. Nicrosil. Chromium. He burnt Bendalloy, the bubble covering most of the church. Cadmium, the two bubbles perfectly overlapping. Finally, he burnt gold, an alternate version of himself appearing. Then he burnt copper, making the pulses vanish to the Seeker’s bronze sense, before extinguishing all his metals aside from bronze. Looking directly at the Seeker, Kelsier motioned to him, indicating the place beside himself, opposite of Eryn.

He looked around for the army of allomancers burning their metals, then realized that it was all coming from one man, standing in the pews. A mistborn? How... He’s wearing thick dark glasses. “She calls me that,” Kelsier said softly, setting up his speed bubble again, this time small enough to contain the three of them. “As do my Southern people. You would call me something else.” He tugged off his right glove, extending a scarred hand. “Kelsier. I don’t suppose you’d care to share yours?”
