Adilie couldn't understand what Kelsier so she tapped her connection to him, a dangerous process as she also increased her feeling that he was superior

Marie started slightly at the accent. It had been a long time since she'd heard a voice like that...

"Perhaps death threats don't work, but I'm sure you're not immune to all the possibilities." She unconsciously shifted halfway into a defensive stance. Of course he would follow her anyway. Of course he'd send his eyes to watch her even on other planets.

Kelsier shrugged, then pulled lightly at one of her spikes. “I suppose I’ll just leave you a Mistwraith then.”

”Not joking,” Eryn noted. “Does not like Kandra much.”

It’s that incomprehensible? Kelsier sent, amused. Good to know. Spend enough time with me and you should be able to parse it out. You pronounce the vowels and syllables more strongly, probably due to the large number of Northern and Terris Originators. Spook being Eastern likely played a role too. Western and Central Dominance tended to slur the words more.

God Beyond no one ever taught you to knock!? Well at least that explained how Eryn knew about duralumin telepathy, the Survivor probably had used Hemalurgy to obtain every useful Feruchemical powers. Out of curiosity, how many people did you kill to get these power? She didn't add to not mention her mind-control, surely he was smart enough to see that had nothing to do with her question.

Kelsier laughed quietly in her mind. Do you really think I’d risk opening myself to Sazed’s well-intentioned control? 

He only had two spikes, and only the one in his eye was permanent. The other was Vin’s old earring, retrieved from the caverns beneath Kredik Shaw. It wasn’t very useful as spikes went. Its charge had long since faded, and Kelsier had no need for the slight boost it could give his bronze. He was already strong enough to pierce any coppercloud.

But it had been Vin’s and it reminded him of her. So he kept it.
