Nyx was lost.  So, naturally, she tried finding a way out.  Turns out a massive tower wasn't a fun place to be lost in, who knew, right?

She eventually decided that walking around in circles didn't do anyone any good and took a staircase down into the underground regions of the tower.  She was immediately greeted with the sight of a FREAKING DEAD DRAGON and members of the strange company who looked like they had just killed the dragon.

"What the frick?"

We're at the very top of the tower. :)

Oh, really? I didn't see that.

Talnic jumped at the arrival of the man, but stood back as the others attempted to, apparently, keep him alive. He kept a wary eye on him, trying to judge whether he was faking or not.

After hearing the dragon’s first cry, Ren had remained motionless in the darkened tent as to not attract the attention of the ancient beast. Carefully looking through the Realms though, he saw that the dragon had already focused on a few of the travelers standing on the roof of the Wizard’s Tower. Thankfully, the dragon seemed to have had no interest in Ren, and while the sudden fight between it and the other adventurers had moved to the ground not far from the empty tents, the others had subdued the dragon before Ren had found need to reposition himself.

The strange flash of darkened lightning that followed immediately after the creature’s death did interest Ren though. It was a phenomenon he had never seen before, almost as if the Realms had bent inward on themselves at an impossible angle before snapping back to their natural flow, only to deposit a strange man onto the frozen ground. Even the way the Realms flowed around this sudden newcomer was irregular…

Ren was about to move closer for a better look, but he noticed something approaching in the distance.

A separate entity, one Ren had only seen in that state few times before, made its way towards one of the adventurers before thrusting itself into the man’s frame.

That man… was the one from earlier, Ren thought quickly, The one who wasn’t with the group from last night… What was his name?

Ren thought it was Xeus, but he wasn’t quite sure. What he did know for certain though, is that this man was the same as Orpheus, and that was very, very bad.

Cara sighed in relief. She really didn't want to be eaten. Realizing that she didn't know the person who spoke, Cara turns to the other person. "Hi! I'm Cara. What's your name?"

Sef turned to Cara. "I am Sef. Before Master Feldspar died I was his librarian, and I stayed to keep the books after his death."

Who's near the dragon's corpse? I'm pretty sure that it's Talnic and Exodus, and I think Nyx and Minuet. Anyone I missed?

Minuet's all alone on the roof. I believe the dragon's body is on the ground.

Sef stared at her. "I don't believe the answer to this question bears any relevance or importance, and so, I see no reason that I should answer. Curiosity is appreciated, though, and so I'm afraid I have to tell you that I don't have a favorite color."

Minuet stepped closer, intrigued. He was in no trouble, Xeus had healed him, but he could be trouble.

Orpheus walked up to Minuet. "What happened here? Who's he? And... did Shadow kill the dragon?"

"A dragon happened, not sure who he is, and yes. The Shadow killed the dragon."

"You must have a preference, though. Like, do you prefer bright colors, light colors, or dark colors? Things like that. Also, it is a very important question because your favorite color can reveal a lot about their personality."

"I don't know for sure. But given the things it did, this group should stay mostly together."

"It couldn't breathe fire," Talnic said quietly, keeping his eyes away from the dragon. He cleaned the dragon's blood from his sword, moving swiftly, and soon had the blade back in its scabbard at his waist. "This isn't the end. We have to keep going." He looked up at the others, and suddenly became aware that his hat was missing. He cursed. He felt so exposed. And it would be weeks before they got to a place where he could purchase another hat.

*quoting Lion King* Not yet!

Minuet jogged down the stairs, retrieving her bag. She should probably go before anyone could stop her, since they likely wouldn't see that she wasn't needed anymore.

Sef tilted his head a little. "Well, you might be right about judging one's personality by their favorite color, yet I don't believe I have one. Not even a preference in the bright to dark axis. I am sorry." He kept climbing toward the library.

So, Isabelle and Jester, we are nearing to a collision course with Minuet. Gal might try to speak to her, but he probably won't stop her from leaving. We'll probably need either you or Val for that. So, Fadran, we kind of need you. Maybe we can find another solution for your problem following the RP? The tags are in the end of the post, because... I can't really give any reason, actually.

And Connie, I guess we should try to stop you? It might be too early, since our characters didn't start too many connections.

Gal climbed the stairs after Sef, then saw Minuet climbing down with her bag on.

"Minuet? Are we leaving now?" He asks.

Minuet plans to leave the group, since her only use, in her eyes, was to kill aggressive dragons. I might be wrong, but I think Val might be able to convince her to stay. Plus, I'm not sure where's she right now. Perhaps with Sef and the others?

Cara followed the librarian and scholar.

"Where are we going?"

Why do I even bother to ask? What makes me think anyone would tell me where we're going? No one even bothered to tell me we were chasing after a dragon because of a dumb prophecy.

"Back to the library." Said Sef. "At least, that's where I'm going. You may go wherever you wish."
