"Alright. That's fine with me. Harmony, let's go that-away," Geff said pointing in a random direction. "When should we meet up again Trylle?" He asked.

"Well, let's... go. I should be able to find you all again from the songs around here."

"Go quickly. Pruss, your powers would be useful, but it's best to see things as they are. Move swiftly."

Trylle turned and jogged into the forest.

"Oh cool, that'll make it easier. Let's go now." Geff started walking in the direction he had pointed initially.

As the group splits up, the leaves rustle further. The sound moves, following one of the subgroups.

Who wants to have an encounter first?

I don't care. Any would work, but Trylle will be moving very quickly.

*Waves enthusiastically* Ohh! Ohh! Ohh! Pick me! Pick me!

Geff turns to Harmony, "Hey do you hear that?"

Trylle surveyed her area quickly and committed it to memory, then took a spot in a tree within hearing distance of the place they said they would meet again. She'd come in second... maybe third.

Above Trylle, the trees rustled. A strangle sound- almost like a chortle- could faintly be heard.

Trylle looked up. What was that? She climbed up a branch or two to check it out.

Through the leaves, a strange creature peered back. It was covered in bird-like feathers and had a pair of appendages that seemed to be wings of some sort, but ended in three fingered hands. Its eyes were solid cyan, seeming unusually large for its face.

It repeated the chortling sound as it saw Trylle.

Tryle narrowed her eyes and let go of the branch, balancing easily. She wouldn't need any weapons if this thing was hostile. And if it wasn't hostile, she'd be fine.

The being hissed warily, and the color of the creature's eyes shifted slightly purple.

"Huh. Your eyes shift."

Does this... have blood?

The hissing continues, the color deepening further into purple.

Trylle's eyes deepened as well, an involuntary response to the sound of blood pounding through the creature.

The eyes of the creature bleed into red as its hiss increases in intensity.

From the trees around, an echoing hiss flows.

Trylle looked around, cursed, and jumped to the ground. "There are more of you?!"

Trylle hissed back and stepped one foot back. She didn't know the abilities of these creatures, but they'd probably be surprised by her blinding speed and rock-hard skin if they attacked.

Yes, theoretically.

At her hissing response, the creatures jumped forwards, claws extended.

Trylle punched one aside and stepped swiftly and fluidly away from the others.
