Every few yards or so on the hall is a square. Within each square stands a team, their banner hanging next to them and painted on the wall behind them. The teams seem to be made of a variety of different people. A couple teams seem to have only one person on them. One, somewhat inexplicably, is an actual house.

Your team's banner is painted at the square furthest down the hall. Presumably, this is where you need to stand to begin the match.

Pruss runs forward with a smile on his face. He makes two black swords along with black armour. "So, weird eye thingy, what do we do now?"

In the next instant, the hall and all the other competitors disappeared, replaced by a forest.
