Green light flashed outside the door, and the skeletal black android body that is Ghostfire walked through the door. "Evening," they said, "According to my Earth database, "Spooky Season", as you put it, has begun. I was curious to see the festivities for myself, so here I am."

Ghostfire watched curiously, and quickly realized it was some Earth religious thing. "Is this usually a part of Halloween festivities?"

“No, it just sometimes happens at a similar time.”

Somebody knocked on the door.

Ghostfire opened it.

“EmLee? Why are you knocking on the door I tied to the ceiling?”

EmLee poked her head in. “Uhh… ‘cause it’s polite. Also, hi, everyone! Enter told me there was a thing here that I should join.” EmLee walked in, wearing a magenta sweater and a pink, purple, and gold plaid skirt and purple leggings. Her hair was in a ponytail with a magenta streak in it.

“How’d you… But… It’s on… How’d you walk in through a door on the ceiling…”

[Channelknight Fadran]

Fadran bumped Enter in the arm. "Question nothing."

“But… Questioning things is how I…”

"Question nothing here." Fadran clarified. "It won't make sense."

Enter looked again at the door he’d tied to the ceiling. “Well… if you say so…”

"What kind of things does one do for this month?" Ghostfire asked questioningly. He had some info in his database, of course, but he wanted to get the fleshy mortals talking.

[Channelknight Fadran]

"Get  s p o o k y."

[Knight of Iron she/they]

Spooky. Sinister or ghostly in a way that causes fear and unease. Sinister. Giving the impression that something harmful or evil is happening or will happen.

"So, I could kill people."

[Channelknight Fadran]

"Please don't."

[Knight of Iron she/they]

Ghostfire stared blankly. "It seems to fit with the theme."

[Channelknight Fadran]

"You're looking at the wrong definition of spooky is the problem." Fadran replied. "Have you ever listened to the song 'This is Halloween'?"

[Knight of Iron she/they]

"No, I have not. I can't really 'hear', either, for that matter, and music in general baffles me."

[Channelknight Fadran]

Fadran nodded. "Well, anyways, there's a couple lines that say 'Life's no fun without a good scare; That's our job, but we're not mean' which I think sums it up pretty nicely."

Ghostfire ejected a thermal detonator, and toyed with it. He didn't seem so convinced. "So, you're saying I shouldn't blow this place up."

[Channelknight Fadran]

"No, please!"

[Knight of Iron she/they]

The only sound that could be heard was a soft, almost imperceptible whirring sound coming from the back of Ghostfire's head as he tried to discern whether the pause in between the words meant "No, please do!" or "No, please no!"

"What I'm saying is, if you blow up my house, I'll kick you into a trash compactor and have your parts sold to some Earthen middle schooler trying to build his own PC."
