I could actually see Kelsier doing something like this, especially to annoy Sazed.

I believe so.

Yes. Steris stored Waxilium metal flakes in fish oil. That stuff is quite nutritious.

The allomantic fuel has to be

  • metallic
  • quite pure
  • inside your body

You could take it as an enema if you really insisted.

I doubt it. I would not eat the wrapper since it would ruin the taste. Just because you can consume metal does not mean it tastes good.

The wrapper does not taste good.  If has a certain tang that ruins the chocolate.  It would be simpler to eat them separately.

Might I ask why you know this?

Fadran?? Why?? Just why???

I had to know when I got a melted Hershey's Kiss and couldn't remove a small shred of wrapper from the rest of it. I was like I'm swallowing metal? Then I nearly laughed out loud and knew I had to ask this question.

Well, I'm going to ask. What in the world made you eat a Hershey with its wrapper? That's a waste of a good Hershey!

How exactly was I suppose to know this at the time?  Scientific method?

How old were you to not know you need to remove wrappers from the chocolate?

I highly doubt it because I'm pretty sure the wrappers are made with/of aluminum.

All right! I'd be able to block a Nightblood attack with a bag of chocolates!

I was aware that most people did it I just had not figured out if an actual reason for doing so existed.

You thought you wouldn't be able to taste the wrapper?

You are oddly concerned about me trying something not particularly dangerous as a child because I wanted to know if I could save a few seconds and not have to use both hands to eat a chocolate.

Oddly concerned? I don't know what you're talking about.

But no, the reason I ask is I know a sweet that has a thin metal layer of I think silver that is edible, so I just got curious on your thought process and if it related to that.

Pretty sure a normal sword can cut through a back of Hershey's, so it would still cut through and kill you.
