Well, up on the surface are a whole bunch of undead minions brought to life by one of the antagonists. Ronin jerked in his sleep, who was this person staring at him? he walked forward, the person looked like a figure in the shadow. it felt like Ronin was awake, then again every time he walked the dreams it felt like this. Ronin was a dream walker, every time he goes to sleep he can transfer between dreams of other people and talk to them or interfere in the dream.

Ronin was a dream walker, every time he goes to sleep he can transfer between dreams of other people and talk to them or interfere in the dream. Well there is Dr. Who Octopus the evil scientist robotic octopus, who is currently trying to travel back in time to take over the universe. He won't be important until he needs to be. You probably won't be fighting him. There is the Gray Man, a drab human-shaped creature with the ability to suck the life force out of people and turn them into revenants under his control. You probably will be fighting him. There is the mysterious Dark Lord, who has definitely not already shown up. The party is currently on a mission to take an amulet to a specific place called the World's Origin, although they don't know why. The amulet is having strange effects on Ellis- again, they don't know why. I would advise reading from page 150 to get fully caught up on recent events. Also, I would advise you to get out of that dream as soon as you possibly can. The entity communicating with Ellis will not take kindly to trespassers.

Ronin swiftly noticed an entity he had not noticed before, he left the dream as fast as possible. He appeared laying down on a sleeping bag at a campsite in the woods. great. Ronin stood up and felt his head. it was aching, usually after dream walking he felt well rested not aching. That could not have been a normal dream, no, he had been in one like it before. Once, long ago, in the past best left forgotten.

There were offshoots, of course, but they led to places she never liked going to. She sprinted, till she came to the door. Her footsteps slowed to a stop as she looked on the door. Behind it was memories that were best left forgotten, though she always remembered them; no amount of running could let her escape from them. All of them were people she knew, or had some recollection of before they met their demise. Their blood seeped through the cracks, dripping down the walls and flooding the floor. Q immediately turned back, but the door was gone. "Nononononono," she whispered, both in the dream and in reality. "This isn't real. Nonono. Just figments of my imagination. Everything's fine. "No," she denied softly, seeing Ellis and Melody, looking as bruised and broken as Huoyan had been. "Not real. Not. Real." "This can and will be real," Highness purred. "You've always been the danger." "No!" Q repeated, her voice rising. "I'll protect them! I won't be the danger. I'm not the danger." "Is that so?" Q's hands flicked, her knives falling into her palms. She fought hard, but in the quick blink of an eye, Q cleanly sliced Melody and Ellis' throats with only one swipe from each blade. Their bodies collapsed with sickening thumps, their blood joining the rest. They stared ahead, looking into the eternities. They may have joined the rest of the bodies, but they were among the few that stood out amongst the many, many bodies. The knives fell from her grasp. Yulong looked down, her hands drenched with blood. She panicked, trying to wipe away the blood, but more always came. There was always more where the little she rubbed off came from. It never came back little bit by little bit, but always waves. Always running, always finding, always remembering, always drowning, always fighting, always losing, always, always, always... . . . Q jolted awake, a scream managing to escape her lips. The scars flared painfully, making the dream seem more real. She breathed heavily, feeling only a few beads of sweat roll down the back of her neck. She reached up, clutching her head as she tried to regain her bearings. Ellis and Melody were alright. There was no blood. Cupra seemed to be resting now. Must be her turn for watch. She got up and stretched, then peered into the darkness. Something was there; that much she was sure of. Ronin did the opposite, pulling jerky out of his pack and munching on it. The tree continued, "Ronin please." Ronin finally turned, "what about last time I did what you wanted, huh? it ended with all the people I loved DEAD." The tree fell silent. "how about that!" said Ronin. finally the tree answered, "Ronin, I am begging you, if you do what I ask this once you don't have to do anything else I ask you to do, you can go on ignoring me, I will stop bugging you and you can finally I've a peaceful life." Ronin actually turned at that his face surprised, "really?" "really." "fine I will do it." The tree looked thoughtful, "I would like to come on the journey, would you like me to enter into my smaller form?" "sure." said Ronin finishing his jerky. The tree shrunk into a small figure of a person. Ronin picked it up and set it on his palm. The figure walked around and finally sat next to his finger, the voice of the tree came out of its mouth, "by the way my name is Toran." "great, I am carrying around a magic stick who wants me to help a legendary figure Yay."
