"Usually when asking those questions we usually mention Adonalsium." Vennten said smiling.

"Although the term Sleepless is new to me, a name of your Investiture?"

Noche was lost, she had no idea what they were talking about. It probably wouldn't matter when she got back home, though, so she didn't worry about it too much.

Philico blinked. No turning back now. "I... suppose. Not really, though. More just... what I am."

And he dissolved into hordelings. Hundreds of them, carpeting the floor and the walls, but leaving room for the humans to stand.

Venten flinched before calming and bending down to examine the crustaceans.

I wish Sanderson invented some stronger swear words to go with the weaker ones. ‘Rusts’ sounds pretty tame once you’ve heard it a million times. Just pretend it’s more extreme I guess. :P Also, sorry Frustration, I guess you get to RP 2 scenes in one thread at the same time.

Bring it on.

A loud sniffing came from the creature.

EEAAAT! Hungary! The gates have fallen, stupid Nathrangking is dead, and I will Eat.

A long thin arm shoved the crate out of the way as it roared.

I'll have Philico treat those as rhetorical questions because I have no idea and he probably does :P

Philico felt. The ground, the walls, the air. The looks and words of the horrified and intrigued humans. He felt it all, while moving a thousand places at once. It was magnificent. It was fortunate these humans were cosmere aware; Philico didn't know how he'd survive trapped only in that fake meat sack. He needed to live as he was truly meant to.

Eventually though, he gathered himself together

and reformed in his human shape. He hoped he got the face right without a reflective surface, but doubted it was the same as before. Now, though, it didn't matter.

Radriarc found himself face to face (if you could call it a face) with the grotesque monster. It roared, and he could feel it shaking his entire being. He gasped and, reacting completely by instinct, grabbed a 2x4 that was sitting by the crates, and hit the thing directly on the head.

The creature bellowed in utter agony, wrenching it's head away, a gash on it's head from a splinter in the board.

A drop of bright blue liquid fell from it's face and hit the ground, no splashing, simply moving into a circle before becoming imobile.

The creature roared again, it's skin dulling to a more muted tone of grey.

KILL

It raised it's long spidery arm to strike.

Radriarc paused, shocked.

That blow would’ve been enough to knock out a koloss!

As the creature raised its arm, Radriarc felt a sudden feeling of deep, cold, dread. Not many weapons scared him, and yet, he had an instinctive feeling he needed to get out of there. He swung the plank again, backhanded this time, and started to run out of the alley.

I’m gonna assuming we’re in an alley, where else would terrifying demons spend their time in an urban city. Maybe FotT is Alleyverse, seems like the whole plot takes place in some sort of alley or another. :P

Also I left Radriarc’s escape attempt open ended intentionally, if you want the fight to continue just have it run in front of him.

Well with no physical brain, or bones, blunt force isn't very effective.

The creature rushed forward, but tripped and tumbled into a heap at the mouth of the alley. It's mouth opened in a silent bellow that broke the glass of nearby buildings. as it stood on unsteady graying legs a couple more more light blue circles were visible.

See the problem here is I have no idea

I guess he could like form into a bird or a flat thing and flap himself up...

Or maybe the hordelings just have wings.

Cremlings don't have wings, it might be possible evolution is a thing in the Cosmere, but it would take years.

Anywhere I can introduce my character?

Did I seriously just ask how to join my own RP thread?

You should meet up with Radriarc as he tries to find the main party, then we can join together.

"Whoa there, sir!" A man called. "You look like you were just attacked by an unstoppable monster!"

Radriarc blinked. “That is....surprisingly accurate.” His eyes narrowed in suspicion. “You didn’t have anything to do with that did you?”

Radriarc noticed the sun lowering on the horizon. He was still pretty suspicious of this man, (how could he have known about the monster?) but he didn’t seem to have any ill intentions. “Sure, I could use a place to spend the night. What might your name be? I’m Radriarc.”

If Radriarc has been drinking water he would’ve choked.

“You’re a worldhopper?!? And you just randomly toss that information about?? Most people on Scadrial aren’t cosmere-aware you know.”

I think what's-his-name mentioned breeding his?

"Hordelings can be specially bred to enhance specific capabilities of a Sleepless, such as a heightened sense of smell or increased memory capacity, although this process takes some time." -Coppermind.

Granted, breeding wings would take a while.

Over the course of many generations, it would be possible for hordelings to be bred to mimic the powers of a larkin.

"Oh, I'm no worldhopper. Just you friendly neighborhood regular guy! Him, on the other hand... he kind of makes regular worldhoppers look like kids discovering that there's other houses to play in.

“Unless you happen to be some sort of demon-hunter, yes, that sounds like a good idea. Lead the way!”
