When he came up, the masked man had prepared a way for them to get anyone out of the water, but only the captain returned aboard. He spoke between gasps for breath, "gone, I'm not sure where he is. The masked man turned to Cadenza. "You're sure it was your friend, Lloyd?"

He surfaced far away from the ship, he got further away every second. Who knew he was such a good swimmer. He kept swimming away from the ship.

The figure, after a few minutes, presumably got bored of their harness, then cut the parachute away and dropped the remaining distance. When they smashed into the deck, there was undoubtedly no way they could've survived that without any broken bones.

Trace ran forwards, pulling out another dagger and jumping towards Cadenza. Janice's body wasn't built for stunts; but that didn't mean Trace couldn't pull them off. She kicked Cadenza hard in the chest, throwing her to the floor.

She slid on some of Cadenza's ice, sliding behind the sheet and throwing another dagger. She ran for Aryanna.

"Janice is dead." Trace growled. "The Talon didn't lie to you. They did kill her during experimentation. I was the result."
