"Probably not. Sorry about what you arrived to. It's usually quite different." Crescendo smiled sleepily at the newcomer. "Can we introduce ourselves in the morning? I'm tired."

She turned back to Leonie. "Eh, didn't seem too mad. She'll be better in the morning, and I don't mind taking the blame."

"You too." Crescendo led the way up the stairs and into the girls' hallway. "Here's where all the girls sleep. The guys are in the opposite hall. You can take any room that doesn't look claimed. There's Selia, Leonie, and me... I think."

Midnight glanced sympathetically at Leonie, feeling a kinship she could not explain. Bowing her head, she twisted her fingers into Sky’s Caravan’s recruitment sign and touched Leonie’s shoulders gently. “The caravan welcomes you,” she said solemnly.

Midnight tightened the straps of the leather pack slung over her back, and glanced in the sphere purse at her belt. Storms. Nearly all of them were dun. She eyed the lit spheres lining the hall. Surely no one would mind if she borrowed a few...

Name: Arelea Renis

Description: Average height, long black hair, blue eyes, pale skin, skinny-ish.

Strengths: She is a very fast reader and writer. She can write very persuasively, and is good at coming to conclusions. She can run very fast. Her biggest strength is codes. She can create, crack, and decipher codes with ease.

Weaknesses: She is a very bad public speaker. She often has a hard time talking to people/a person at all. She is extremely shy, and has a very bad stuttering problem. She is also physically weak.

Personality: She doesn't like to be the center of attention. She is very shy and stutters frequently, unless you get her to start talking about something she is passionate about, and then she starts talking very fast, in a way that is usually hard to understand.

Backstory: Her mother died as she and her twin brother were born. Her father died in battle a few days later. Her sister raised her, but was 13 at the time, so Arelea is a bit strange. Her older brother would have taken over the house, but he was 7, so one of her uncles had to help. She is thought of as a strange lighteyes, because she often keeps her head down and mumbles, even to darkeyes. When she turned 15, her brother took over an army, and started fighting. She came along as his scribe. She became a squire about a month later.

Family: Mother-Enalan Renis (Deceased), Father-Taahaan Rennis (Deceased), Older Sister-Silias Rennis, Older Brother-Jarran Rennis, Twin Brother-Dannas Renis.

"Anyway... night!" Crescendo hugged Leonie and went into her room, closing the door behind her. She slumped on her bed.

Midnight watched Crescendo go, then slipped into one of the empty rooms herself. She set down her pack, then sneaked back into the hallway, stifling a yawn. Now was not the time for fatigue. She had work to do.

She retreated into her bedroom.

Midnight froze with her fingers wrapped around one of the spheres in the hallway when she heard the knock. Who’s that? Quickly tucking the sphere into her belt, she dashed to the front door, pulling it open. Has Mother come for me? Or father? Has something happened? But the only one she saw was a nervous-looking girl. @Random Bystander@Vapor

Midnight peeked over Sebarial’s shoulder, using her newly-acquired stormlight to fade into the shadows - literally. But the new girl was a stranger, so, sighing, she returned to her rooms. She promptly fell asleep.
