She opens the door, and sees Taln on the ground, shaking and crying. 

[Vapor she/her]

"Taln? What happened?"

[Bearer of all agonies he/him]

“Th-the monster. It’s back!” Then, he passed out. 

[Negative_Null They/Them]

Selia is walking downstairs trying to follow Taln's path.She reaches into her pocket carefully.

"Yes, I know this could be a bad idea. But don't you want to know?"

"See, I told you. What's the worst that could happen?"

Taln wakes up. “Don’t go down there. There’s a shshshshshshsh down there! Don’t! You’ll die. . .”

She's pretty sure this is the right door. At the very least it's still slightly ajar.

"Hello?"

"Well I don't know, maybe the Brightness came down here."

...

"I think we should at least see."

...

"Oh, you'll be fine."

Selia edges open the door.

[Vapor she/her]

"What?" She stood up and spoke to something next to her. "Selia's going down there? Taln, can you help?"

[Bearer of all agonies he/him]

He started shaking again

“No. No. No. Nonononononono. No. It’s down there. Please. No. Not me. Not again. It’s been following me. I know it. No. Not me.”

[Vapor she/her]

"Okay, okay." Sebarial grabbed the doorknob and runs down the stairs, turning a corner and going down to the basement. "Selia?"

Selia peers inside the room. Why was it so dark? She couldn't see anything in there.

Sebarial comes to the door. "Selia!!!"

Selia whirls around and instinctively strikes out at Sebarial.

[Vapor she/her]

"Hey!" Sebarial falls to the ground. 

[Negative_Null They/Them]

"Oh, Brightness, I'm sorry! Did you get burned? What's supposed to be in there? What was that scream?"

"I'm okay. Apparently there's a monster in there that Taln's scared of."

"A monster? Well, we better see what it is." Selia nabs a sphere from a wall lantern.

[Vapor she/her]

Sebarial holds her hand out and a Shardblade appears in her hand. "Be careful."

[Negative_Null They/Them]

"Psshh. I'll be fine. Follow me"

Selia walks into the room

[Bearer of all agonies he/him]

Taln is still in his room, whimpering. 

[Vapor she/her]

Sebarial steps after her. "Hello?"

A low growl comes from the shadows.

[Negative_Null They/Them]

"Ok, I'll admit that doesn't sound good"

Selia lifts up the sphere to try and illuminate more of the room

[Vapor she/her]

The light flickers, then goes out, and a very faint glow comes from the shadows, illuminating a set of sharp claws which tap the floor in a slow, steady rhythm.

Selia pulls something out of her pocket and throws it at the sound and glow
