Ros got up and double checked the door to his dorm, making sure that it was closed tight so that no one would be able to peak in before returning to his small desk, revealing the spanreed once again, turning it on. He knew that writing was unmanly at best, but he couldn't bear to ask another to do it for him. Even with this reasoning, spren seemed to dance in his stomach, making him uneasy as he worried that someone would find out about this. He tried in vain to brush away his worries as the person on the other side stated that they were ready, and so Ros began to write. Even though he had been unwilling to learn at first, he now found it fairly relaxing as he recounted all that had happened to the one on the other side of the spanreed, it made him feel at peace for the first time since coming to the school.

"Yes." Whatever that meant. It'd get a roof over her head and food in her belly. That was all that mattered.

"Ah, alright. Come on in. Which order are you?"

"Dustbringer."

"Okay. Go ahead and find a room, I'm too tired to do it myself."

Arelea was back in her room, sitting at the desk. She didn't know what to do. I want to go back to the war camp. I wish Dannas was here. Well, either way, I shouldn't stay holed up in my room. I should be doing something. With a sigh, she went to the door, and headed down the hallway.

Crescendo sat down on the stairs. She was too tired to go farther, and she knew Leonie would be looking for her. She needed to explain things.

"Should I go talk to Crescendo?" Leonie asked, shoulders squared.

Shen, being a stuffed bear, didn't give any visible or audible response.

"I know she's scared. And I'm scared."

Shen fell off her bedstand. Leonie sighed, picking him up and placing him on her pillow. "Alright... I'll go find her."

Leonie took a deep breath and pushed open her bedroom door.

No, there is no map. Maybe I should draw one... hmm.

Crescendo lay down on the stairs, mildly uncomfortable but too tired to shift. She heard a door opening upstairs and halfheartedly glanced that direction.

Leonie shrank backwards. "Uhm... are you okay?"
