There are guards racing down the hall toward them. "Cease and desist! You will be detained and prosecuted!"

[Mist she/her]

"How about not?" Tria continues running, watching the guards behind her.

[Condensation she/her]

As she passes a hallway, she sees guards racing down that hallway. Ahead of her is the door that they entered from.

[Vapor she/her]

Vanessa runs past the guards to Fritz. "Are you okay?" @FriarFritz

[Condensation she/her]

A door on the side of the corridor opens, and Konna Furcifer looks out. Her eyes narrow, and she slams the door. You can hear it lock.

[Vapor she/her]

Vanessa pulls the rifle off of her back. "Konna."

[Condensation she/her]

More guards come rushing down the hall, and the first ones are catching up.

[Vapor she/her]

Vanessa takes a step forward. "Where is the girl?" she asks icily.

[Condensation she/her]

Um, Konna went back into the room.

A girl peeked out of a cell right next to Tria, Vanessa, and Fritz. "Um, hello? Are you guys escaping? Can I come with you?"

[Vapor she/her]

Forget that post.

Vanessa smiles kindly. "Of course!" She reaches a hand out to the girl. "Let's go now, though."

[Condensation she/her]

"Okay. Where are you going? I'm Harmony." Harmony takes Vanessa's hand and steps timidly into the hallway. She looks about 14, wears a light blue slip with no shoes, and has black hair reaching to her waist, but it hasn't been brushed for a while. Her face is blemish free and very fair, with soft pink lips, a small rounded nose, and dark brown, almost black, eyes; and her expression suggests innocence.

"I'm not sure where we're going. I'm Vanessa. We should hurry."

[Condensation she/her]

"Okay. You're escaping though, right?" Harmony glances about nervously.

[Vapor she/her]

"Yes." She tugs Harmony gently. "Let's hurry."

[Condensation she/her]

Harmony turned toward Vanessa and got ready to run.

I'd like to a non-epic. Secretive and not currently known. Maybe disguised as a guard and attacks another to jump into story?

Specialty: tech or mechanical stuff

Goal: will stop at nothing to steal back the <insert thingy here> (it has to be a good thingy)

Flaw: is not a people person; not experienced with espionage, but passable... (More?)

Tria runs up to the outside door and tries to open it.

It doesn't open. The soldiers rushing down the hall pass Konna's room and the cell where Harmony was being kept.

[Vapor she/her]

Vanessa pulls Harmony to the door and shoves it, kicking at it.

And then, when you said there will be no new epics, do you mean that characters who are epics have to be epics mentioned in the books, and that we can't introduce characters with powers, or that we can't give a non-epic powers half way through the story?

Scarletfox, join us, in the field maybe? You can run up to DQ or something, like this one lady told you to come here on this day at this time however many months ago, and you decided to do it? It can be me, and I knew you guys would need help. Of course, at the time, I thought I would be with you, but you can help them anyway!

No new Epics means that Calamity isn't creating Epics any more, so if you weren't an Epic before he left, you won't be an Epic.(unless we decide upon Spock's idea). Please don't all introduce Epics, I know it's nice to be powerful, but I think we have enough. Maybe one more.

Spock, I don't know. Maybe we can explore it further via quote box and all decide upon it later?

Vapor, thanks, I guess? There just aren't that many Epics around, plus Konna's taken and brainwashed most of them.

The door falls open as Vanessa kicks it, and Harmony is pulled along with Vanessa.
