Regardless, Sector Twenty-Four was dark day-in, day-out. The people here had better night vision than Fadran could've ever hoped for; fortunately, lantern posts and the like lined the streets for visitors to navigate. He'd let them out in a spot far from the patrols, unless anything had changed since he'd been away. Nobody shot them within seconds of their arrival, so Fadran figured they were probably safe. "It's about thirteen o'clock here." Fadran announced. "Days are thirty hours long, so not even lunchtime yet."

He got out a few seconds later with a bewildered expression on his face. "Actually, it turns out that there's an entire civilization down there, and one that worships me at that."
