EchoOfThePlanes he/him Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Just now, Matrim's Dice said: "Woah!" he said. "It's gone! My headache! I don't feel it anymore!" PAIN! Remembrance staggers away from Craven's cognitive light, unconsciously drawing in more of the surrounding energy storm. This helps abate the pain, but it does not fade completely. It begins to slide away from the cluster of lights. Craven's enthusiasm left an impression on Remembrance, and the memory of that impression makes it stop. It turns around, and slithers back to the cluster of lights, caution and anxiety preventing Remembrance from approaching too closely.

If so, what do you think that would look like on the Cognitive Plane? I want Remembrance to react to this the right way.
Channelknight Fadran Posted April 27, 2021 Author Posted April 27, 2021 Fadran frowned. Was his colorblindness acting up again? 2
xinoehp512 he/him Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Quote It is not Awakening. The cognitive realm would see... warping.

Alright, thanks. The space between the cluster of lights begins to warp, and Remembrance is filled with curiosity, but strangely no anxiety, and takes its equivalent of a step back.
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 "That wasn't gray a second ago, right?" Martin asks.

Random Bystander she/her Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Camelia was in a hollow tree, away from other people, trying to sleep. As she hadn't slept in around 10 years, she was having a lot of trouble with that. That, combined with being a drab, was making her extremely irritated.

EchoOfThePlanes he/him Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 (edited) Remembrance gazes at the warp, attempting to figure out what the cause is. After a rare moment of thought, it decides it cannot do anything about it. Remembrance approaches one of the several lights, unknowing that this particular one is the cognition of Fadran. Quote @Channelknight Fadran I admit that I have no idea what Fadran's abilities are. Would you say that his abilities might affect his cognitive aspect? Is the wisp representing him brighter in any way, or maybe more... colorful, or something like that? (If anyone else could answer this question as well, please feel free to respond.) Quote Fadran is completely unInvested, but I don't know what the ramifications of that are for the Cognitive Realm. However, if there were to be some form of the Cognitive Realm in his own universe, his soul would burn brighter than most there. I guess you could say that those properties carry over.

Quote So I suppose it would be more of a spiritual thing for Fadran, which, if I understand Realmatic Theory correctly, would cause Fadran's cognition to glow brighter. As it approaches, Remembrance notices that this particular light glows a bit brighter than Craven's. It is curious, and it decides to touch it, despite what happened last time. Of course nothing happens, due to Remembrance's lack of effort to cause something to happen, but it still shies away briefly before returning to touching the light. Remembering its experience with Craven, it decides to try again with this new light. Why would it not? This light is new of course! Remembrance draws in more energy from the surrounding area, and touching Fadran's cognitive light, it pushes. Connection! This push is more tentative, and as such the Connection much thinner than last time. Remembrance waits for a brief time, expecting a flood of memories, but is relieved when nothing of that sort occurs. Again it is filled with curiosity, and it wonders if Fadran can feel its curiosity. It is unsure, and so it pushes its curiosity along the Connection to Fadran, attempting to impress its emotions upon his mind. Edited April 28, 2021 by EchoOfThePlanes

Remembrance has lived for a long time, but in all of its days, never has it heard or felt such a curious word, 'fleeker.' It is excited at Fadran's response! It pushes its excitement to Fadran. Realizing that it had not answered Fadran's question, however, it seeks for Higher Communication. Searching through its memories, Remembrance finds that it had indeed used words before, but it was such a long time ago that it is unsure of its ability in Thisplace. It remembers its experience with Craven, and all of the memories it gained, but still shies away from the memories. It is scared of those memories. Those memories are new. However... Remembrance decides that it is too curious not to employ Higher Communication. Remembrance pushes, but this push is different. This push does not affect Fadran, for this push is for Remembrance only. A push of the mind, of the spirit. A push of progression, and a push of Identity. Remembrance hadn't used this push in a long time. Not since it left the Origin. Its push allows it to contemplate Fadran's response, so it ponders. (Remembrance has not pondered in a long time either, so it decides to ponder the pondering first.) Quote This contemplation would seem to take some time to Fadran and Remembrance, but in truth would only span a few seconds. Remembrance understands now, and it pushes its own words to Fadran. I am curious. What are you? Edited April 28, 2021 by EchoOfThePlanes
xinoehp512 he/him Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 Color continued to fade. As the last of the color faded from the center of camp, it began to... fade, in a way. Details began to vanish leaving just the outlines of objects, as if the whole scene were being undrawn by some sort of cosmic painter.
