Fresco points the sleek weapon at a nearby snowbank and fires, and a light blue laser blast streaks in an instant with a quiet boom. There is a miniature explosion, and everyone nearby is sprayed with snow.

"Ah, sorry." Fresco points the weapon into the distance behind them and fires, again with a small boom. The snow up the mountain in the distance is launched up in the air.

"Fehn" N'Fehn takes the gun and looks into the barrel. "What soul powers this?" He points the gun into the horizon and fires. The gun grew warm and seemed to jump out of his hand. "Ahh!!"

"Oh, yeah, it's got a bit of a kick to it. You have to hold it steady. And I'm pretty sure it's just advanced technology that powers it."
