Herate furrowed her brow and shoved against Psyder with her telekinesis.

Psyder dug his feet into the ground, resisting Herate.

Might be hard. Vale, Nath, and Fox just went hunting for... the fox. Chrysler is on her way back with her squadron though. Speaking of...

Vale walked through the forest, stepping carefully with the air of long hours of practice in the art of stealth.

Chrysler walked back into camp at the head of a group of exhausted soldiers, the bag at her side depressingly flat and her fingertips covered in faintly glowing dust.

In silence I glide forward. The castle vanishes as the forest spreads its arms and embraces us. When it comes I'll have to be ready to wage war. I look inward the beast struggling to escape. From within my powers begin flow. A sign for those that can see begins to rise up.

Circestran walks beside Fox. She stiffens as she senses power begin to rise up. What is he doing?

"Just because I was put in charge, it doesn't mean that I know exactly what to do all the time or how to do it. That's why we're a team, not mishmash of loosely related entities following me blindly."

"Then...why were you in here alone contemplating what to do next?"

"Because I'm terrible at following my own mentality."

"You said you wanted to call the others in for a meeting? I think that'd be a good idea."

"Yeah... but I need to do something first. I don't know what yet... just something."

Queen looked befuddled. "O...kay..."

"'Do something' is Fadran lingo for 'can we run off into the forest together so I can rant a lot.'"

"Noted. And yes, we can."

"Great." Fadran grabbed a pen, wrote a note to the others to let them know that they were okay, then stood up.

Queen laughed at the thought that Fadran expected her to do something after he stood up but before he left the tent. What was she supposed to do?

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing. What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Queen walked out of the tent.

Fadran followed her, summoning his Channelblade to his hand just in case.

Queen looked around, acknowledging that there was forest everywhere, so it probably didn't matter which way they headed. She led the way into a random section of trees.
