Velles paused, then frowned. “I’d like to know that too. I was with someone called Emi and this other girl in a city full of vines... I fought off some beasts, but after that it’s fuzzy. I was gone. For a while it feels like. You wouldn’t happen to know either Emi or that girl would you?”

"I vaguely remember Emi. Now that I think about it, I kind of remember you, too."

“You... do?” Velles asked, feeling unnerved. He had no recollection of this man. Maybe he was from that hollow spot lurking in his mind? “How? From when?”

"I dunno. I can never tell. Probably nothing to be worried about. Say, how are you at storming impenetrable fortresses? Because that's the current game plan."

"Holy heck, another one--" Fadran raised his voice. "Hold on! I got you!"

He Forged a Spirit Bond to the water, pulling the man towards him with a wave of magically-controlled water.

As the ship gets close enough, Eldyn takes a step forwards into the shadows of the fortress and his foot lands on the boat. After another step, he is standing in the middle of the group.

Velles nodded. Storm a castle? That should be easy enough. And besides, he was indebted to this man for saving his life. He needed a chance to experiment with his new powers anyways.

When the new man suddenly appeared in the middle of the boat, Velles almost flinched. Almost.

"Sorry. I couldn't resist surprising you. My names Eldyn. Who're all you?"

Velles turned to Fadran. “I think this guy just came from the castle we’re about to storm. Should we... beat him up?”

"Fadran."

"I don't think so. Not unless he tries to beat us up first."

"So, we're storming Enter's base? What are the defenses?" T says. Ember hangs back, standing near Nath and Fox.

Despite my exhaustion I rise up from Fox's mindscape for a moment.

"Are we going in subtle or are we passed that at this point?"

"Subtlety is the safest route. Though it is hard to say what we will do."

I turn toward Fadran ignoring the newcomers. "I think it is best if I stay here to guard the boat. My injuries will hinder a quick attack and escape. I cannot speak for Fox though I also think that she might be best served by staying away from the front lines while she recovers."

"I have no arguments with that."
