uhhh well, this probably doesn't make much sense out of context but basically Fadran promised to have a FoTT halloween thingy that will probably happen in the mishmash inn, though I wouldn't know. Anyways, just wanted to make sure we actually do this by taking it out of the allyverse PM.

I say we do it in Just the Plot

How do I join this? Do I need to create a character or anything?

Quote

You join this any way you want! Creating a character is recommended, but a lot of people kind of just play themselves. There isn't any formula for creating a character, as this is a freefrom RPG. I recommend you don't create any gods (we've had our fill of those)--at least not the kind that are all-powerful and have no flaws. Those characters are boring.

Great! is there anything happening, or do I just post and interact with people?

You could join in one of two groups right now, as far as I know. You could join the larger group on @Enter a username's boat, who aren't doing much right now. You could join @Vapor and @Negative_Null, who are doing some crazy side quest. You could also, in theory, join @Scarletfox and @Nathrangking, but they're having a mental adventure (in a vision or something), so you might want to talk with them if you want to join that.

A cold coil covers Circestran. She stands as stone unmoved by the violence. Her eyes don't even blink as she watches the man tumble to the ground sightless for all time. Shock shoots through her when she sees a wicked dagger appear in Fox's hand. "Don't do something foolish." The whisper almost reaches the ears of one who could not have heard her. A quick gasp looses from her lips when Fox plunges the knife into her own stomach. Even in the memory the blade's malignant power saturates the air. What did you do? Fox falls to the ground and Circestran looks over at the current Fox. At a loss for words. Circestran walks in front of her and spreads her wings to block out the scene. She steps forward and brings Fox into a silent embrace.

Fox barely noticed Circe as she came to stand in front of her. Something, some type of... anger churned deeply within Fox, yet at the same time, it was as if she did not feel anything at all but a coldness. Fox shivered when Circe brought her into an embrace, not resisting, but staring ahead with an unfocused gaze. There was so much to process. Winter killed her brother and she tried to kill herself with the accursed knife. That was... kind of a lot. She felt angry, very angry. Fox didn't want comfort from someone she barely knew, Fox didn't want comfort at all, she just needed to think. Right now, Fox hated the softness of hugs, the false feeling of safety and warmth that they created. In a quiet voice, Fox commanded coldly, "Let me go." She tried to squirm out of Circe's embrace.

Wrenden appeared on the boat with a poof of red smoke. Dramatic entrances were fun, even if they sometimes attracted unwanted attention. He slipped a vial of red liquid back into a padded pocket of his coat - it would be embarrassing to be enveloped by a cloud at an awkward moment.

"anyone know where I can get some food around here?" He said. He walked through the boat, looking for something to eat.

Fadran glanced over his shoulder. "I'm making some chili right now. Who're you?"

"I'm Wrenden. Is this your boat?" He walked over and looked at the chili, taking a whiff. He reached into his coat and pulled out a vial of spices, then added a pinch to the chili.

"Nope. The owner's downstairs doing... something." Fadran whips out a spoon, stirs in Wrenden's spices, and takes a sip. "Mmm. What'd you add?"

Circestran releases Fox wordlessly. She dissolves as though she is made of smoke. "You wish to think. Let it be so. I will never be far away. Try not to lose yourself child there are paths that are too difficult for most to climb out of. If that witch kills Nath then you will be on your own. I don't know that I could pull you back." The voice which had filled the memory goes silent. Everything fades away and the real world begins to take shape.

Wrenden took a sip of the chili. Perfect. "It's a mixture of spices I've perfected throughout my travels. It seems to elevate any dish to near perfection." The mixture also heightened the eaters senses, allowing them to more fully appreciate whatever they whatever they were eating. It had been one of Wrenden's more brilliant ideas, but you had a lot of those when you were as old as he was.

"Nice." Fadran stirred in a small pinch of curry powder just to annoy Queen.

kindness appears out of nowhere, after exploring the boat.  "Looks good!  I wish I could taste it."

"Ummm..." Fadran takes a sip of the chili and uses the Drakefell magic of Illusion to confuse Kindness's taste buds into tasting it. "Boom. How is it?"

Goodness, Taste Illusion has got to be the greatest magic system I've ever contrived.

"Woweeeethat's what tastebudded people feel?"  Kindness's form blurs for a moment.  "Woah, this is awesome!"
