Frustration Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Quote Alright so small question that doesn't really matter at the moment but, if something magical moved from another universe into the Cosmere for instance, would it have Investiture tied to it? Now for an entrance Jhaug sat studying a map of the Omniverse. This was the next universe on his list, The Cosmere, as it was labeled, a number of inhabited planet populated the universe. Jhaug finally picked one, he would open a portal to there, and then find a populated area. Quote Fandran's group, if any of you can feel inter universal travel something just appeared not too far away

The tears have stopped. My breathing is steady as is the light coming off of my body.

Though I can neither move nor speak I project as much love and strength as I can with my gaze. The tears have stopped. My breathing is steady as is the light coming off of my body. The Fox looked at the dagger in her hand, then she looked back up at Nath. He did not look afraid. He did not look regretful. He did not look... betrayed, as she had expected. He looked.... he looked like he wanted the best for her. He looked as if... he had accepted what was to come.* The Fox turned the knife over in her hands. If she killed Nath, would she be free from her emotion? He had been the one to persuade her to open up once again. It was kind of his fault she was here. Just moments earlier, she was ready to let go of everything to not feel the pain. She had been ready to give in, what had changed from then to now? Well, Autumn had been killed by Winter, but that was inevitable. Nath had made her vulnerable, but Nath had made her feel again. Nath had brought her pain, but Nath had brought her strength. The Fox never should have opened herself up. If Nath were to continue to push her, would she be broken? Like that girl staring into the void? Was there anything wrong with staring into the void? As the confusion, the pain, the hatred, the anger, the frustration, the sadness, the desperation rolled through the Fox... she knew she had to get rid of it. All of it. She hated feeling this way. She hated feeling so exposed. She hated feeling so... vulnerable. She wanted to go back to how it was. To the time of nonchalance. Life was so much better then. The Fox wanted to go home. Her hands trembled as she grasped the hilt, as she had grasped her knife hilts a hundred times before. Her arms and legs felt weak. Her jaw trembled. The Fox's eyes could no longer meet Nath's. She stepped forward. "I'm so sorry." She whispered. "Please forgive me." She used all of her strength to raise her frail, unfocused eyes upon Nath's face. The Fox could feel something in her throat. Bile? She must have been disgusted with herself. "I'm so sorry." She repeated, tears streaming down her face as she raised her knife. She hated that she couldn't be strong one last time. That she had to show weakness until the end. That she couldn't just gaze upon the last one who believed in her with the strength to say goodbye. She closed her eyes. A sharp pain ricocheted through the Fox. She stood there for a second, like a tree that was just chopped at the base and hadn't decided in which direction to fall, before plunging to her left. Her body lay slumped between Nath and Winter, a knife hilt sprouting from her stomach, and a trickle of red seeping out of her lip's corner. Quote *Speculation, not godmodding oh yeah and also... Winter was literally instantly at Fox's side, extracting the knife from her stomach. "WHY!? YOU IDIOT!!" The Fox was suddenly alone, cloaked in darkness. She was dizzy, and couldn't think straight. She could feel a horrible pain beyond that she had ever felt coming from her stomach. Her eyes peered down at herself. She was glowing a soft orange, but resting on her stomach was something of blackest black, something that spoke of evil. It was a hole, with tendrils twisting and turned. It was moving, spreading, upward. It was reaching for her heart. It was getting closer, it was touching her heart. She screamed a terrible scream. A veracious scream. A desperate scream as the blackness brushed the deepness of her soul. The scream was in part of the pain, the excruciating pain, that she experienced. But mostly, because she felt something being stolen, a part of her, a vital part. Then, the pain was gone. For an instant, the Fox could see that the hole was no longer moving, but it was still there. Something was definitely wrong. The Fox laughed. More blood came spraying out of the Fox's mouth as she coughed, her eyes fluttering open. A face entered her line of hazy sight. A beautiful face. A glorious face. The Fox smiled. "Winter...
