"No, we're not shutting down the rebellion, we're assisting it! I started the rebellion to rebel against Fjorden, but it won't succeed without my assistance." Herate said.

"That's even better!!!"

Fadran whips out a couple bedrolls from his backpack. "Does anybody want these?"

"I'll sleep on the ground, them things wouldn't make sleeping in armour any softer."

Jek shakes his head. "I don't need to sleep in comfort."

Spin stands up. "I can come too, if you need me to." she says to Vale. "I'm a spren too."

Just now, Enter a username said:

"Sure. I'm still kind of tired."

Fadran gives Enter the other bedroll, then stretches and chillaxes on the obsidian floor.

Just like home, isn't it, Icona? Fadran thinks, then internally sobs as he remembers that no reply is coming.

Fadran, stop giving me feels :(

Vale starts up the hill we're all hunkered under. "I can get us a vantage point from here, but I'll need some light"

I follow Vale up the hill. With a thought I create a sphere of light which floats in front of Vale.

"Thank you"

Vale concentrates for a moment, then reaches out his hand to the side. Energy crackles around his hand, and then he reaches up to the globe of light. The light disappears, and the same black metal that's below appears, stretching into a small (About 7 foot) tower with a ladder set into the side. The energy around his hand disappears.
"There we go. Hopefully we won't need to go too much higher than that to see something"

Fadran nods. "I... thought I knew what loss felt like. Back in the day, I was a Battalion leader in the Silverclad Enclave with this other guy. We led our troops against a demon force, expecting to come out on top... in the end, only he, I, and a few badly-wounded survivors made it out alive. That's when I left the Enclave and became a merchant... that's also when I taught myself how to Spiritcall.

"One day, when I was exploring some caves in southern Feylore, I stumbled upon a shrine dedicated to the Prime Deity of the Iconar Collective: Icona. Turns out the god himself was dormant here. Long story short, I woke him up, and he kind of became a constant voice in my head. At first it was really annoying, but before long, we were friends. We saved the world together a couple of times, explored the Omniverse and eventually the Macrosmos... then I stumbled into you guys.

"Back at the Universe Hexagon, when I was dueling Jaxevist... or, rather, when Jaxevist was beating the rust out of me, you're the one who gave me your power, but you almost died in doing so. I couldn't leave you there to die, but I don't have enough Health or Divinity to save anyone that close to death. So..." His voice catches. "I guess my question is... when Journey died... how did you feel?"

Queen sat in silence for a moment, realizing what must have happened. She took a deep breath before attempting to answer Fadran's question. "Like...a piece of me had died. He had been by my side for years, and this might sound cheesy and generic, but it's true. He was my better half, my second part, my partner in crime. When I fell in love with him, we fell into each other, becoming one. To have him cut out of my life...it felt the same as I would assume having my heart cut in half would feel. Heartbreak is a term you hear often, usually referring to a breakup. For me, it really did feel like my heart had shattered, and no matter how hard I tried, there would always be so many pieces missing. I think...grief is different for everyone, though. Descriptions might sound the same, but what it truly feels like is unique to you." Queen looked Fadran in the eyes. "I'm sorry for forcing you to let that happen. A part of me wishes I weren't here, then you'd still have Icona. But...I'm guessing it was his decision. For whatever reason, he chose to let me live in his place. I won't let his death be in vain." She stood, then joined the rest of the group, pondering what she had said. Tchanta hesitantly spoke in her mind.

That's a pretty big commitment. A god died to save you, and you think you'll be able to make his death worth it?

Maybe not. Queen admitted. But I can try.

AGH MY HEART! Also, sorry my reply is so late, I haven't had much time to be on. I'll also be gone Thursday, Friday, and possibly Saturday.

"Neither he nor I would've traded you for him." Fadran replies. "Thank you, Queen."

Skye whirled around, soul casting the bullet aimed at her head to smoke. Dang. she thought, dodging as another bullet came at her from the side now they know I can soulcast.

"Alista" Skye said under her breath "I might need some help." Alista nodded. Help is, Skye, help is.

In the blink of an I, she fell into the giant ball pit that was shadesmar, then started swimming towards what seemed like a group of spren. Maybe they could help her.

:D Legend of Korra

Jek stood. "Guys, there's something out there." He walked forward.

Skye continued swimming until she realized how stupid she was. she pressed her hand on one of the spheres, one that repersented a door, willing her limited starlight into it. "now I just need a paddle, and ill have my very own ball pit stand up paddle board." she muttered, helping Alista onto the door.

You need a TL;DR? If you want to know what's happening right now, basically we just finished an eighty-page-long adventure in a massive alien cave system and are trying to pull ourselves together before the next big thing. If you want the full TL;DR... then let me know, because I don't have the motivation to write it in this quote box :p.

Skye stopped, thinking. where those other humans? what on roshar were they doing? Skye burned tin, squinting. yes, those were people, looking at her.

I'm good for the whole summary. so, open ended role play with almost no limitations? I'm in.

"Do you need help out there?" Fadran calls, searching through his backpack for anything that might help. Net? No. Life vest? Not in the beads. Fishing rod? Since when did he have a fishing rod?

Uh... basically we're an adventuring party exploring the unknown, and running into problems left and right, like croven demon birds, holed, and character development! Also, back when I said "open-ended" or something among those lines, I was legitmately thinking that we'd just do whatever the storms we wanted. However, we accidentally evolved, and now it's an actual storyline.
