Well, I'm guessing she reacted positively.

Well, I haven’t got to see her yet, that doesn’t happen till like another hour or so, so I haven’t been able to tell her yet.

But I’m feeling confident

Aright…

It could’ve gone better, but she was nice about it. Either way though, I definitely needed to tell her

edit: plus she still wants to talk to me, so I may still have a chance, just not now.

edit 2: technically she never said she didn’t like me, and she didn’t really imply it either…

Good job! Plus, she still wants to talk to you, so I don't think it went as poorly as you're making it out to be.

That’s true, thanks

Now I just have to figure out why I needed to tell her now instead of later

I would recommend reading preach my gospel, chapters 1 and 3 are really good, and just read your scriptures as much as you can

Do what you can to get in shape. If you're in an area with no car, you're likely to be walking around 10 miles a day.  Your first few months will be a lot easier if you can handle that before you go out into the mission field.  (Go on, ask me how I know...)

Wake up on time, study your scriptures daily, go to bed on time, and pray like crazy.

And don't stress, it's not scary, and once you make it to the MTC you'll feel fine.

remember, on your mission, you'll be out of your comfort zone a LOT. fortunately, we have a Comforter that is always with us. get in the habit of praying to have the Spirit with you, and for other blessings you need. Read your scriptures, and read the preach my gospel manual, it's helped me a lot in preparing for my mission.

I also recommend memorizing the articles of faith, but I also just like to have things memorized.

Where are you going?

There’s a booklet thingy on the Gospel Library App called Adjusting to Missionary Life that could be helpful, becoming a missionary is a big change after all and it’s helpful to have some specific guidance during that

Oh yeah I've read that; it's pretty good.

I'd also get used to using your phone less for non-spiritual activities. It was hard for my other cousin (I have a looooooooooot of cousins) to do that.

And hi @PianoSavant, been a while since I've seen you on here.

I had to google what a mountain dulcimer was...

Realized I never updated yall on this.

Anyways, somehow you had a better understanding of what was happening than I did cause she asked me out!!!!!!

(I asked her to MoProm before this, but that happened before my post, but we slow danced at another dance last week)

Which was not what I was expecting. I thought I was gonna have to ask her out, but I can’t wait for that(the date hasn’t happened yet, I was just reminded of it today)

So thanks for the encouragement everyone, especially since yall don’t even know who this girl(or me, I guess) even is. But yall were right.
