Inanis
If you're keen, you can tell who is the hero of ages at the third epigraph of the book. "In some ways, having such power was too overwhelming, I think. ......." Who else would say "i think" after anything he or she is uncertain?
+Artemos he/him
Indeed, but it's not a spoiler, it's just foreshadowing. In the same way, the first epigraph - "I am, unfortunately, the hero of ages" is similar to Sazed's manner of speaking. Chaos he/him
I mean, "spoiler" would probably be a little extreme to say, but it is definitely strong foreshadowing for the eventuality.
aneonfoxtribute
Yeah, it's just foreshadowing. Oathbringer has something similar, where there's subtle foreshadowing that an epigraph is not written by who we assume
Wander89 he/him
I wouldn't say spoiler. Just some foreshadowing. Good way of thinking though!

+Invocation
That's just Brandon being Brandon. He likes to seed this stuff happening, like his revelation to us that the ending of the Stormlight Archive series is contained within the first bit of The Way of Kings. Karger he/him
Brandon likes to write in such a way that a fully attentive reader can predict most occurrences before they happen.
Inanis
Actually, I spotted it recently, which is waaay past I finished the Mistborn series. I am now currently reading Oathbringer, which I believe is the last cosmere book I haven't finished reading. Anyway, thanks for pointing out spoiler is a strong word haha.

The entire ending - and it makes no sense until you’ve read the whole trilogy...
