Ah, alright. She didn't exchange phone numbers with the other attendees? I mean, the characters literally had a conversation about that.

They talked about it, but I don't remember any of them actually doing it. I could be wrong.

True. It might be good to say they did though. It wouldn't make sense for everyone to just leave without doing something like that.

But then I wouldn't have an excuse to do something reckless <_<;)

Do Mac and Voidus have phones?

KanMien has a phone, at the very least, and she’s with the group in the Alley. Idk about anyone else.

Edit: This is my 1000th post lol :P

If you whisper something under your breath Mac will be able to pick it up, no need for phones.

alternatively you can summon Cam by saying “like a good neighbor HR is there!” And tell him you need to get Mac a message.

Mac tricked him into signing a contract with that as a stipulation, that HR carries him messages from time to time.

He will force you to attend a weekend workshop on information security because you shouldn’t know that however, so the price may be too high.

The second one is tempting, but I don't know if Deteca would know about either unless the first is something everyone in the DA knows.

The first one was mostly a joke/rumor. You have to be near an alley for it to work, and there has to be an agent somewhere near that alley. But it’s way less cool to say he has an extensive spy network compared to he can hear every whisper in the city.

It is true that The second one may not be well known, and is generally ill advised.

Unfortunately Mac does not have a phone, and refuses to use them due to a debilitating candy crush addiction.

So if you throw a phone at him and it's open to Candy Crush, you can walk right by him?:rolleyes::D

It depends. He will always check it out, but only if it’s on a specific level will he stop whatever he’s doing and play it till the phone dies.

If you want to, I could also have Kumiko contact one of the TUBA members at the Vortex (not sure which one). Kumiko should be able to contact the rest of the DA, or give KanMien's phone-number.

"I think that’s everything. Should we head out?” Mac asked.

Voidus gave a curt nod, still keeping a little attention for any potential pursuit through the Alleys. There was little more for them to discuss, and if the storm would indeed affect the Vortex in some way then speed would likely be necessary.

"The three of us will see to the Vortex." Voidus said, gesturing to Mac and the Stranger. "The three of you be on the lookout for anything that seems out of place. Or anyone acting suspiciously, we can't discount the possibility that they've left saboteurs around to ensure that nothing happens to it."

It was unlikely that such a saboteur could do much to deter them even if one were present, but it could be enough to damage the surroundings. It would also be an excuse for them to stay nearby, protected.

"Let us move on then, and we can finally put an end to this."

Voidus stared into the Alley ahead, beginning the process of manipulating them once more and taking them to an Alley nearby the main Plasmacore building. He would need to keep his mind focused now, no more idle thoughts distracting him. His eyes became steel as he resolved himself to keep his mind present and not wandering.

Perhaps we could host some kind of celebration afterwards, might make it a little easier to talk to her.

His resolve did not last long.

KanMien nodded, following Voidus. Walking behind him, they got out their phone, and sent a quick text to Kumiko. On our way to building, it read. Voidus, Mac and the Stranger coming as well. They found themselves wondering what Kumiko was doing, and hoped that she hadn't landed herself in too much trouble.

Darkness wondered the city, friendless... alone....   Nobody loved accept for that homeless over there who liked to hug people.  But he would strike back.  He would find a way to defeat them all.  He would show each and every one of them.  More importantly, he would wear cool armor and run around punching people.

In hand-to-hand combat, Darkness was unparalleled.  Give him a couple throwing knives, and he could spear the wing of a gnat without harming the insect itself.  In melee combat, he could hold his own against virtually every competitor.

However, he would need supporters.  An army.  And he knew just where to find them.

That's probably a smarter idea than what I was going to do. Sadly.

So which TUBA member should she talk to? Freedom?

Freedom isn't a TUBAist. Pry, her sister was, but she left a year ago. So maybe that could work, since Freedom is connected to Pry who has ways to reach TUBA, if the DA wasn't aware of that...though it would be a little awkward for them...

There aren't any real PC TUBAists at the Vortex. Maybe an NPC or two, but not many.

Mike unwrapped some foil and then threw the roll over to her. His aim was off and it was trundling towards the wall to her left.

Freedom caught it nonetheless. She held it above her head as high as possible to prevent it from falling into the Vortex. The ceiling was beyond her reach, so she turned to Wes.

"Care to assist?"

@I think I am here.

Ok. In that case, who asked Deteca to call the DA?

Eiran told her to get the news out iirc, but she would've anyway. He's down in the tunnels, though, not at the Vortex.

Alright, do you know anybody Kumiko could talk to? It doesn't matter that much though, given that the DA is already on their way anyway.

Like Silva said, I don't think there are any TUBA PCs there.

Alright, thanks.

Kumiko felt her phone go off, and looked at the screen. So they're finally coming, huh, she thought. A smile crept onto her face. She wondered what KanMien would think when she saw how well she had done. She tilted her head. It seemed as if the higher-ups were coming as well. She looked around. Guess I should tell them, she thought.

She switched back to Fox form, and walked over to some of the people working near the Vortex, making sure too keep her distance from the thing. She didn't want it to get her amulet. "Hey," she called out to them.

Are you talking to them as a fox? Did I get that right? And Mike can't see her guild affiliation, right?
