As she walked through the palace, careful to stay to to known paths, Brightness suddenly remembered something in her notes. Something about a wolf. Winter Cloud, she remembered, Winter went missing in the chaos! And earlier there was that parshman dragging that huge white dog- Wolf. The huge dogs are called wolves. Parshman, wolf, Winter- Winter's been kidnapped! she realized with a start. "This is a disaster!" she exclaimed, "Why didn't anyone notice?!" Luckily for the navigationally challenged girl, the Queen's study was visible down the hallway. After sprinting down the hall to the tall doors, she paused, unsure of the protocol for interrupting monarchs in their studies. Silly girl, she scolded herself, Winter's gone! Taken by that strange parshman and you're standing here worrying about protocol of all things?! She gave a quick, loud knock before throwing open the door and rushing into the Royal Study. "Winter's been taken!"

"Oh my goodness, Duchess Random, My apologises." She grabbed hold of her royal papers and placed them on the desk. "How? When?" she said at the duchess, standing up and walking towards her She turned to Kai, one of her servants. "Kai, send out guard force 1 to search for Winter Cloud." She turned back to Duchess Random. "When did you last see her? Do you know any specific places she could be taken to?" The Queen considered the Dark Alley, but waited for the duchess's reply.
Brightness Random she/her Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 After giving out orders, the queen turned back to her and asked for details. Brightness tried to respond, but her voice seemed caught in her throat. The queen was looking at her expectantly, so the duchess swallowed and replied. "I-I don't know for sure, your majesty. It was perhaps half an hour before you found me, two floors down from here. There was a parshman, you see, but it wasn't a parshman, it was too dangerous, too wild to be a mere parshman, and it-" her voice was shaking. Storms, this was very bad. Finish the story, she told herself, they need your help to find Winter. "It was dragging something behind it, a white wolf. I didn't get a great look at it, your highness, too busy running for that, but it was Winter. She- she didn't look too good. Actually, she looked terrible. It was awful." She cocked her head slightly, remembering a detail she had forgotten earlier. "Someone else was there. Someone else tried to stop the parshman. Ah, who was it?" she shut her eyes, trying to remember the scene. She'd never seen the other person, she'd only heard him. Who's voice was that...? "Cheese!" she suddenly exclaimed. The two sisters looked at her in puzzlement. "I meant that it was Cheese," she said, embarrassed. "Cheese United. He must have been the other witness." I hope we can find Winter in time... she thought, I don't know that I could forgive myself if something terrible happened to her. 1

"Our strongest chance of finding Winter is in the Dark Alley. I'll send out more guards to go question Cheese United and we shall go to the Dark Alley. I'm currently practicing with my gauss gun in a gray, sunlit building near the Alley. I look forward to your visit.
Brightness Random she/her Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) Brightness wore a small frown as she put on her armor. She'd never been fond of fighting, and the armor made her feel restricted. You're just fine, she told herself. It's all in your head, and you know that. Armor is good! It keeps spikes out. She placed the helm on with a sigh, then summoned her shardblade. After ten heartbeats, it dropped into her hand. The duchess looked at it for a long moment, feeling unsatisfied for some reason. She'd always wondered what it would be like to hear one scream. She had never had the opportunity, though she had often wished for one when she was younger. That would've meant that she was one of them. A Knight. But that wasn't her place. The Blade felt odd in her hand. Unfamiliar. A Blade should be familiar, not... this. Oh, stop complaining. She told herself, That comes only with time. You just miss home. She dismissed the Blade, feeling foolish. As she left her rooms to meet with the queen, she had a bad feeling about visiting the DA. Parshmen. Parshmen weren't their style. Even demon parshmen. Not from what she knew of them. We're looking in the wrong places, a part of her thought. Well I don't know where the right places are anymore. she thought back, I'm just going to follow my liege and do my best to save Winter. Edited February 21, 2015 by Brightness Random 1
Queen Elsa Steelheart she/her Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 In her quarters, the Queen was surrounded by four servants who were putting on her armour. In the opposite room, Delightful was doing the same thing. It had a while since she had put on her official armour, but this time it was different, not a war, but to rescue her friend. The Queen summoned her ice shard blade and then placed it back in the sword holder. She placed a gold crown on her head before placing the helmet on top of her head Once ready, she and Delightful and a group of guards, made their way to the Royal Stables to get their horses. She looked at her sister as they waited for the Duchess and squeezed her sister's hand. "Are you ready for this?" 1

Cheese United he/him Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Cheese was on the study still, calmly eating pizza. He wondered what all the commotion up above was. Hopefully they hadn't found out about his whole 'conquer the world' plan. It would be akward to explain that to them. Mostly becuase he wouldn't have a chance. However, when he looked at the situation, he could see that was not the case at all. Heck, theQueen had on armor! "She must be going to fight that Parshendi." 1
Queen Elsa Steelheart she/her Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) Queen Elsa, Princess Delightful, Duchess Brightness Random and the group of guards came rushing out the drawbridge in their armour, on their horses. It made a tremendous noise that every head turned. The drawbridge closed behind them with two guards at the front of the castle saluting to the Queen as she rode past. A massive sheet of ice, which was also an ice cloud appeared at their feet. It was usually expected the horses would slip, but they seem quite used to the Queen's powers. The ice cloud lifted up and took them immediately to the Dark Alley. The search had began. After riding for a few minutes, the Queen saw a terrible sight. Cheese United he/him Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 "Y'know in hindsight, not helping winter when facing off against that Parshman was a bad idea..." Cheese thought from where he had stuck himself underneath the Queen's horse. Being a cheese had some advantages sometimes. the disadvantages of course outweighing them. How he ever did anything without appendages was a mystery to most people. 1
Queen Elsa Steelheart she/her Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) The three and the guards kept on riding towards Winter, when a fowl smell wafted past the Queen's delicate nose. It seemed to be coming from the bottom of her horse. It was definitely not her. A queen never farts. "Oh my word.....Who cut the cheese?" However the Queen had to concentrate on rescuing Winter. Brightness Random she/her Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 "There's Winter!" Brightness exclaimed, leaning forward to try and catch a better view. "What... what are all these parshmen- I mean parshendi- doing?" Something about this scene seemed very wrong to Brightness. It was more than just the fact that a bloodied Winter had been placed on an alter by the army of Parshendi... there was a terrible feeling to it all. It was... Hatred. "He who hates," she whispered in realization.

The horses doubled their speed before stopping just behind a nearby boulder. "Alright. All summon shard blades.This is going to get messy. Delightful, Brightness and I will take care of the Parshendi with some of the guards. The rest of the guards will retrieve Winter and then fight their way through more of the Parshendi. Everyone ready?" The Queen reached under her horse for a water bottle. Upon doing this, her hands brushed past something slightly gooey stuck to the bottom. "Excuse me, your majesty, but may I make a suggestion?" she asked, "The Dark Alley may have vital information. I ask your permission to find out what they know before leaping into battle. I promise to return with the greatest haste." Happy now, Snoopy?

Voidus Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) Voidus finished off the remnants of his last taco, the 20th by his count. Hunger finally satiated he licked his fingers with glee before taking out his Aonic amulet, the Tia symbol glowing briefly before he vanished, returning to the Alley.
