"I recommend that we strike first.  Why not attack the Parshendi on our own terms (In a separate thread)?" suggested Maleril.  "We could attack them at the Shattered Plains; the Dark Alley would be glad to help."

a hole opened in the wall and the Stranger poked his head in

"To clarify, certain members of the DA would be happy to help. The DA never chooses a side in war, even if it's being waged upon ourselves. Ooh, cake. "

The Stranger reached out and grabbed a slice then popped the whole thing in his mouth. HE swallowed it whole and grinned briefly before disappearing along with the hole that had opened.

Xanas walked in just in time to see Fatebreaker steal the cake. "Really, the whole thing?" He turned toward Maleril. "It would be great to defeat the rebel Parshendi, but we need a field advantageous to us. Lots of metal in the ground, hmm, and Stormlight infused gems... maybe some existing Aonic plates - a jungle might impede the Parshendi, and add some vicious animals, maybe a chasmfiend or two..." Xanas trailed off, mentally imagining a storming awesome field. "You should get that ready."

"Well we've always got a few Acolytes looking to prove themselves if you need more soldiers. But then again there was that one who accidentally spiked his own memory into a piece of granite that time we had a skirmish with a chasmfiend so not necessarily as useful as you'd think."
Voidus groaned at the memory, pulling an extra-large taco out of a nearby shadow for some comfort eating.

"Thank you. I am willing to take any extra help we can get. Just make sure they don't do anything like that at the battle." Feeling peckish, Queen Elsa picked up a taco from the bench. "May I take one?"

"Sure." Voidus replied around a mouthful of taco. "Help yourself, they're pretty good. Never did get around to studying the spike that gave me that ability but it does come in handy when you're feeling peckish, tapping calories is all well and good but then you don't get the taste."

"Thank you very much." She said, smiiing. She took one from the other side of the kitchen, not so close to Voidus. Elsa bit into the taco and immediately began to feel very weak. She gripped the table hard to straighten herself, but she then went paler than snow and collapsed, the taco cracking beside her.

Lady Eris looked up from her knitting.  Not a single stitch was out of line; she would never drop a stitch with this much Chromium turned on.

"Voidus!  How dare you Spike the Queen?  This is why I don't like you heartless Dark Alley maniacs!"

Queen Elsa lay on the floor and softly moaned. "He wouldn't do that to a endorcer of the Dark Alley. Plus, it was from the other side of the room, not very close to him. Maybe it was spiked by someone else." Elsa eyes then shut completely.

I think winter is saying that they have spikes that make them more susceptible to control by Odium.

Do we have a list of all of the various clans that are parts/sworn to the Empire?

"Just randomly pull it out? No certain way I need to do it?"

"Preferably as non-painfully as possible but no, no way in particular." Voidus said, sketching a quick Aon Ien in the air to heal over the wound left by the spike.
