Eve stood outside on a patch of sidewalk, looking up. The fog remained and the city had an eerie glow cast upon it.

No. This was not the city she devoted her life to. The was the result of someone messing with things that were no good.

 “What is that?!” someone near her shouted.

Eve turned in the direction they were facing and froze. A giant figure outlined in fog loomed over the city, something about it seemed familiar to her.

Then it hit her, where she recognized him from. PlasmaCore.

”Oh, storms,” she whispered. “Haunt?”

The mist envelopped her and Zokora felt bloodlust rise in her. She looked around, saw a creature move and set out towards it, then it was gone. Still there, but sleeping. It was like a half-forgotten memory. Was this fog a place for the ghosts to hide, to haunt her - she laughed at herself, an eerie sound echoing through the streets.

The fog can influence you. Bloodlust. And it's strong.

She reported to Lusk and then waved her flag again. They ignored her, so be it. That only meant it was time to improvise. Her steps firm she walked closer, the flag lifted high into the air.

"I've come to talk!"

She shouted. Maybe that worked, if not there was always a doorbell, or a camera, she would annoy them until they gave up, or Lusk revised her orders. Or until she found a good other reason.

@I think I am here.

@Ark1002

Did you actually read the entire post? There was a spren-guy who walked up to her.

     So now there are two holes in the roof? Also, muscle-armor-dude has now had nine bullets fly up his eyeslit, each with 6,796 ft lbs.

A deep roar sounded from above the room, then a hole broke through the ceiling. A torrent of fire was released into it.

@Grey Knight @ElendVenture

Dragon!!! Thought Damon, rolling to the side and shooting three more rounds at a marine. He fired the other three that were left in his gun into the eyeslits of muscleman's armor, using the same technique as before.

I thought the spren caused the bloodlust in combination with the mist? That's why I asked you yesterday if it's gone or not.

Stupid me, sry.

Zokora looked around and saw a spren walk up to her. For a moment she wondered how she could have missed it earlier, then walked towards it.

"Good evening. I've come to talk."

Sera hissed next to her head and Zokora gestured at her to keep silent.

It cackled. "Talk then."

There is the mist. That does nothing. Then there is the purple-red haze. That does the bloodlust. Then there is this thing.

She resisted the urge to snort at the title, but quickly became grave again. "Do we know what this mist is doing?"

"No," Tena said. Rial nodded from her position at her computer.

After scanning the TUBA thread again, I've concluded that they didn't mention they knew it was PlasmaCore. Oof.

"Do we know who created it?" Deteca asked.

"No," Tena said.

"But it had to have been someone with a lot of money," Rial said. "You can't just conjure this sort of thing out of thin air." She waved her hands to emphasize her point. "I think we can rule out the DA, TUBA, and Ghostbloods, since none of us have any reason to make something like this. The Church of the Whiterose doesn't have enough funds, and neither do the Keepers, so that rules out all the Great Guilds." She shrugged.

"What she said," Tena said.

Silas walked through the streets. He had left his friends behind, claiming this was his own mission. Which was true. No one could be allowed to follow him. Silas reached down towards his hip and pulled out a special flash-bang gun. He put his earbuds and noise cancelling headphones on, and lifted the gun high above his head. The noise echoed, and the light burned an image through Silas’ closed eyes. “I’m here, you son of an axehound! Come and get me!” Silas removed the earbuds and headphones and waited. Then, he heard a rustling of cloth and a dripping noise. “Come with me, my son.” Silas walked towards Allak, and when he reached him, they were both Lashed away by Allak.

It would be outlined in the dark fog, not dust, but she would be able to notice the similarities anyway.

The Haunt was giant.

He laughed and the low rumble could be heard all around.

Notice me,  they all notice me now. They can’t ignore me.

Daa buzzed curiously. "If we don't know what the mist does, how do we know that the Ghostbloods or the DA wouldn't have a reason to make it?"

"Because Voidus obviously hates it," Rial said. "Eyewitnesses on the ole Alleynet say that he was having a fit over it. And the Ghostbloods like to cause death immediately."

"You are sure you can trust these sources?" asked Daa. "If so, then yes- I very much doubt that Voidus would declare himself opposed to something that he himself had created. That just isn't the DA way. The Ghostbloods, on the other hand..." he hummed, wary. "The premise of the guild may be assasination, but that's hardly going to be their only motive."

I saw "and liften the gun to his head" and I'm like "OH CREM SILAS KILLED HIMSELF"

NOPE. Although, considering who just picked him up, he might be inclined to do such a thing.

Alright thanks. For me the figure was shaped out of the red haze, more like an incorporation, not a separate being.

She was screwed. Talk to that thing? Hastily Zokora reached for her folder, only to realize that she had no real orders for this situation. Negotiate. A grin lit her face. No orders meant she couldn't screw it up. Lucky her that Lusk never really talked to the Righthand. She could have told him some things, would have probably. But alas he hadn't and so she could solve this her own way.

"What are you?"

She asked curiously, then figured it wouldn't hurt to state clearly why she was here.

"I am here to negotiate. We would like for the violence to stop and hope we can find a solution."

"Anyways, I was at Oasis City earlier, and everything's perfectly normal," Tena said. "And they're tied down by the treaty they made with CotW."

Zokora sent Stormbreaker a quick message.

I'm close to PlasmaCore's headquarter. Carrying a white flag for the moment. Lusk tasked me to try to negotiate. What's your status?

Then she attached her coordinates as well. She doubted that PlasmaCore would be open for a negotiation, but then you never knew. Zokora made sure she had enough stormlight inhaled to be able to elsecall away, should the need arise and took the moment to contact Althea and send her a quick report. Now all she could do, was wait for an answer.

@Ark1002

@Vargo Seldon

Stormbreaker paused, picking up his phone.  He'd called in some reinforcements:  Several Viper drop-ships, a few dozen Viper air superiority craft, and lots of tanks and ground troops.  He messaged back to Zokora:

I'm alive, and I called in several hundred reinforcement units.  Pray we won't need them.  Moving to your position.

He called in a convoy of armored vehicles, and he and his men got on.  His elites acting like bodyguards in the trucks in front and back, and the three commanding officers with him.

He arrived in front of the Plasmacore building, and stepped off with his men to greet Zokora.

Zokora held out her hand in greeting.

"Zokora An'Inera. It's a pleasure to meet you."

She made a guesture towards the spren-like-figure.

"They sent that one to meet with me, I am waiting for a general reply if they are open for negotiations right now."
