The sky turned black as hundreds of Eldritch abominations filled the sky with the sole intent to destroy the city and all of its inhabitants. The DA would not be trifled with this time. THE CITY WOULD KNOW THE WRATH OF THE DA!!!!!.

The man stood up, brushed off his suit, and motioned for the guards to dismantle the alter that they had been assembling. They left with as much pride as they could muster.

Then the power of an AlleyMod made itself known striking every Eldritch abomination from the sky.

Seb sighed again. When could they get to real business.

Alan looked through his papers once again, attempting to sort through cookie recipes, blueprints, drawings, and the actual notes for this event. He pulled one out, and held it up reading it. "According to the itinerary I was given we are supposed to go over the following. Taxation, establishing Infrastructure, conducting a Census, Nominating non-elected government positions, establishing Defense, Starting impeachment proceedings, establishing a Justice system, Spending and budgeting, and Appointing the Chancellor. Quite the laundry list of items to go through. Though given that this is our first-ever meeting, I assume we have a lot more to discuss than we will on future meetings." Setting this sheet of paper down, Alan continued to sort through his assortment of papers.

"Don't forget, picking a police force, and deciding what to do with the citadel. Yes I brought my own podium," Dusk said from his portable podium.

Can you guys stop ignoring me? First it's, 'you should move this to in character' then you guys just ignore me.

The old woman grimaced, a hard, cold look, waving her cane. "Hand the boy over to the Dark Alley. He more then deserves it!"

Thel woke up, "I don't really know what's going on, but I don't think giving a boy over to have all of his attributes stole, or some similar experiment, is not a very good public relations move, especially if you aren't allowing the DA to participate in your government"

Not trying to ignore you. But the meeting is only half ways started. Someone asked for the list, so I referenced the lost posted in the OP by Meeker. I also assumed police force would fall under Justice System but that's just how I interpreted it I guess.

Alan listened to what the woman said and responded, "We can't just hand someone over to the DA like that. He hasn't committed a crime. Because there aren't laws yet. Besides, even if he had committed a crime, given the fact that the DA is not a part of this assembly or the governing body, they have no Jurisdiction or claim on anything anyone does here. If people wish for him to be punished for his actions, they by all means we should begin the process of making what he is accused of doing against the law, and then someone can begin the process of prosecuting him. And then if he is later deemed guilty he can be punished in the manner deemed best by the governing body."

The elderly woman smiled cruelly. "You're right, there isn't any laws. Which is why we can just hand him over."

"No," Ciera said "I will not stand for this. Benson has received protection from TUBA, he is their problem now. Now, I think that we should start by creating procedures by which we can create non-elected positions and appoint people to said positions."

Why are there so many audience members talking? That's not how these things work! If we really want things to happen in this thread then the chosen senators need to not be constantly interrupted. Please talk with your gov Rep and get them to raise your concerns.......... -From someone who wants something to actually come of this:D

While this arguing had happened a pair of super lifeless escorted Benson form the premises.

"Can we get down to business?" Dusk said.

I don't think Benson was ever there. Someone just started talking about him.

Astiel nodded to Wes.

"Yeah mate?"

@I think I am here.

Wes nodded back, then stood up, and took a deep breath. There was a reason he’d been third reserve for the seat, of course. And a reason he’d always appeared so weird in normal conversations. It was because he sucked at normal conversations. There was only one thing he was good at. And that was politics.

“I propose we start work on discussing the inclusion of a justice system and talk of an organised police force to enforce the rules. As for laws, I say we use a base set of laws that we can all agree on, maybe something from Earth, with an addition of Investiture based laws such as the Allomantic Agreement of ‘94 added in, taken from their respective planets where such Investiture is common. As for a police force, the Precursors have been throwing themselves to the role and I believe they would do a fine job.”

He paused. “So, uh, how does that sound? I hope I didn’t bite you, because, like Cerrobend, that’s bendalloy in case you didn’t know, I can be a little bland.”

"Okay, I think everyone is here that wants to be." Ciera said "Then, I call this meeting to order. Could someone get me a list of what we need to do here."

"I passed a list out to everyone. Would you like me to read the list that I have on hand?" Sebastian asked.

"Interesting, If agreeable to you all, I suggest that the canton forms a crisis team of operatives in case of highly dangerous threats, with the levels of investiture we have seen previously, this might be a vital instrument in keeping the peace. I would like to requisition 10 thousand chrysts for funding for this, this will cover wages, equipment and training for quite some time." Astiel looked at Wes

"what would you propose we do for laws with alleymatics? it's incredibly varied and potentially very powerful."

"YES! I HAVE A CODE OF LAWS! I CAN BRING IT SOON! DO YOU WANT TO VOTE TO APPROVE/DENY/ALTER IT!" Dusk said, "I WOULD ALSO PROPOSE THAT THE PRECURSORS ARE THE POLICE FORCE AS THEY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR LIKE, 3 PAGES!"

Inquisitive, Dusk actually does have business here. He administers the citadel. Also, who is the second TUBA rep?

The poor mimes were overworked, but they still had to fix the small crack in the fourth wall. They don't get paid enough for this.

"HERE IT IS! I COPIED IT FROM THE GOOGLE DOC!" Dusk said waiving a packet.

So, it might be unfinished. I'm not a scholar of the law. I now I missed police brutality, and didn't include some of the more, disgusting, crimes because if you do those, you get kicked of the shard.
