@Furamirionind, @Karnatheon, @Dr. Dapper need character names for registration.

@Karnatheon you still have an unfilled TUBA seat.

@Darth Woodrack and @Grey Knight who is your choice for Rep for the Black Crusade?

@MetaTerminal and @MacThorstenson same question as above. Who is your rep going to be for the Craftsmen?

Alan Smedry is my Rep character. He is mostly approved, just needs the final seal of approval.

Keleth looked about, and said.  "These laws are a slightly edited version of the justice system of Galvris Morevron.  They are completely up to debate.  Losing a hand or a foot is a bit harsh, and antiquated besides.  Also, the victim is brought into a court of law, where the punishments that he can inflict are limited.  We must decide what a suitable punishment is, and the use of Aon Kii sounds like an attractive option to me.

"On another note, the terminally sick or close to death elderly can volunteer for a spike-out, and those who have a morbid fascination can volunteer for a spike-in.  Hemalurgy is essential to our way of life, think of it as a mutual sharing of investiture.  Any Joe off of the street can become an allomancer by buying a spike off of an enterprising DA member.  We need to keep that, without the useless loss of life and insanity.  I propose to pass laws that say that a signed form must be presented for those who want to be expiremented on, and those doing the expirementing must be a certified hemalurgist.  Also, all spike-ins must be accompanied by a copper spike, so as to keep mental fortitude.

Vesuvius almost chuckled. Chrysts.

From what he understood, those were probably the worst economic system he had ever faced.

There was always enough of them to go around. From what he had learned back in Earth, this should have inflated the Allyverse economy to the point of unrelevance.

We probably should put some sort of limit on chrysts.  Although, the only people that really throw chrysts around are our characters, and they only make up less than 10% of alleyplanet.  So the economy wouldn't really suffer, would it?

You underestimate the power of a single person with unlimited or nearly money.

See: Mansa Musa and his pilgrimage to Mecca. He devastated the entire economy of many countries with frivolous spending.

We have plenty of those on Earth, and it hasn't completely ruined our economy.  Granted, the ability to do anything, buy anyone, and have pretty much unlimited power could do a good bit of damage.

We actually did. The Great Depression was in part caused by super wealthy people manipulating the economy for their gain.

I think in light of recent events, the DA is most likely keeping most of it’s resources in house. People who decide to try a Free Cookie are also given additional incentives to remain with the organization.

Well, it was also in part because everyone was wealthy.  In Alleycity, just our characters are.

"Aye," said a Space Marine in emerald armor, having just entered from a special side door designed to accommodate his massive size.

Man, now I gotta make an RP character who lived through the Depression and hates wealthy people and the economy. Sounds fun.

"We probably should have a chancellor and system of decorum around here before we start trying to pass laws," Pry muttered, not really caring that no one would hear her.

"Nay!"  Yelled Keleth.  "We need a compromise between the DA and TUBA before we legalize it without any restraining clauses!"

“Aye!”

”Aye!!!”    “Aye Aye!”

“AYE!!!!!”

a cacophony of voices came from every direction, their origins undetectable.
