We need to wrap up the Era Ending plots soon.

I think that the release of Voidus should be coming to its exciting conclusion soon, and that the metamorphosis thread will be wrapping up as well, but the time skip will only happen once those are done, and the reforms are completed.

Hey,

for the guild thing, I would like to be counted towards the Canton Of Combat.

Thank you very much!

As for the Republic. we dont have enough Reps for two houses.

No problem. We can always send more Reps of the GBs.

So when we did the Era 2 time skip I made a thread called 16 year peace where we put short stories that happened there. Should I make one for the 1 year skip? What should I call it? I'm thinking something along the lines of 'The aftermath' or something following voidus' release, also, when is Era 3 starting? do we have a date or are we just doing it whenever.

Axelius has already said he wants to.

Due to the number of lower guilds, there shall be a number of "slots" that guild representives can run for in an election.

Does this mean that some guilds won't get represented?

Yes. But there will be election cycles so new representatives can be elected.

Hmm.  I'm not sure how I feel about this.  If we are to truly have a republic, we should have completely equal representation.  If one guild doesn't support the decision, their voice should be heard.  Furthermore, all other guilds could put it to vote whether or not they should make a decision that could seriously undermine a guild, without that guild even hearing about it until the vote is done.

It's to prevent a guild from spreading it's members thin across a bunch of smaller guilds to effectively give themselves more votes. Like, if guild A had ten members, but decided to distribute their members amongst 5 smaller guilds to give themselves 5 times the influence.

Hmm.  Still doesn't seem completely fair to me, but I can see your point.  If it's just a fail safe to limit the number of allied guilds we have, then we should put a cap on how many guilds you can join.  It would completely solve the problem, but it would go a long way towards fixing it.

We currently have two dozen people in either one or two guilds. Three are in three, five are in four, and five are in five or more. A poll that was conducted supported a resolution that 'characters should be required to join guilds and RPers should only be allowed to join a certain number of guilds'. An ongoing poll in the guild reform topic is a close race, eight people support the limit being three, while seven support four. The other 14 votes are split among the other options.

I will note that if a guild like TUBA, which has nine members, wanted to, they could theoretically change where three or four of their members counted for, to prop up small guild who wants greater influence. For coalition inquiries, please see Karnatheon. I'm not sure if that was a serious suggestion or not.

I suppose.  I myself am a part of three guilds, so I could see where the problems are.  I still don't completely like the idea of some guilds being excluded from a vote, but I don't see any other alternative.

Yeah. I want at some point to try a really long time-skip, enough to kill off all the characters that aren't immortal in all but name.

I'm thinkin I want to keep my era three character for the long run.  He'll be very interesting to play.  And he's a returned, so he'll be able to survive any length time skip.  By the way, when is era three officially starting?

A little bit after Era 2 ends.
