Timetravel, foresight, knowledge, Shardic interactions, breaking causality, etc.

I think just using the Warp still is easier. Having access to the Spiritual realm has a lot of other awkward implications.

Using the Warp is even more awkward though, since there are literal demons that want to eat your soul just floating around in the Warp. In addition, the other stuff you mentioned is exceedingly hard to pull off by myself. I can't break causality to, say, win a fight, since that could be construed as godmodding and would get me banned.

As long as psykers and other shenanigans aren't brought in, I feel like the Warp equaling the Spiritual Realm isn't overly powerful. But, y'all do have the final say.

But there need to be in character reasons why things don't happen too, not just out of character reasons. My other issue is that even Brandon has struggled to implement the spiritual realm yet, he's said there's a lot there he needs to work out still. I think it's likely to be really awkward if we jump the gun and use it before it's been shown on-screen in the cosmere.

Anyway, I'll leave it to everyone to weigh in on,.

No opinion here.

Sorry for the long post - needed to catch up and stop being in 4 places in the same thread at once.

Gonev hurried through the doorway and Freedom came as well. He wasn't prone on pushing their luck, but standing in a warzone seemed like a bad idea.

Pry walked briskly through the hallways. No one gave her a second glance. So long as you act like you know what you're doing, you'll be treated as such. Eventually she entered a chamber.

Warmer was on the floor and Eon it seemed was strapped down into some crib.

"You storming murdering devil," she hissed between her teeth. Then she noticed the Space Marine and heavily armored man duking it out. One she assumed was Crow. The other she wasn't sure.

She scooped up Warmer and hurried over to Eon, releasing him from the contraptions. He stopped mid-wail when he saw her face.

"That's a good kid," she said, smiling despite the circumstance. Holding two small children in her arms with nowhere to go.

"Pst!" someone hissed from behind her.

"Precious!" Pry whispered.

"Come with me," she said. "I don't want to push my Luck too far."

They hurried back out into the corridor.

"Where are the others?" she finally asked her.

"In a cell," Precious said. "But I've got the key." She dangled it in front of her.

"Okay," Pry said. "Okay. I've got some help on the way. Can you get them out?"

"Probably, but Light won't be Light until Crow is dead."

"Spiked?"

"Yes."

Another complication. She suppressed a sigh. Precious was looking to her to help. She had to stay strong. "Okay. Crow needs to die." She swallowed heavily at the thought.

---

Freedom pulled on Gonev's hand.

"This way?" he asked as they turned a corner.

"This way," she said.

"I won't ask why."

"Don't. I'm trusting in Precious feeling lucky."

"Okay."

Gonev wondered briefly if the others were still following. Then he dismissed the thought. This twelve year old girl was rubbing off on him a little too much.

---

"People," Pry said quickly, recognizing the sound of footsteps. "We need to hide."

"I doubt Crow enlisted the help of a young tween," Precious said. "Or a teenager. Probably your friends."

Pry's heart warmed at Precious using the skills she'd helped teach her. "Probably them."

She didn't notice when she wandered off.

---

"Guess your bet paid off," Gonev said, spotting three Acutes. "Someone was feeling lucky."

Freedom smiled and ran towards them.

Yeah, I saw them. Dense paragraphs there. I also wrote the quote box before actually writing and over-exaggerated in my head it's final length. Didn't bother going back to fix it.

Plus, like Grey said, you kind of need psykers if you want to get anywhere on the warp.

Lena followed Gonev, having no real idea what was going in. They met Freedom again and then she saw four children. Freedom ran towards them and Lena followed her slower. Children. She took a shaking breath and then pushed any sort of feeling away.

"Are you alright? And where are the others?"

She asked them.

KoTiel jumped out of the plane, and felt a number of bullets rip through them. Healing the wounds, they started tapping their zinc, quickly increasing the amount they were tapping, until they could look at all the weapons, and immediately calculate their firing cones. With the unnatural speed their bones gave them they moved forwards, dodging between the cones, avoiding the bullets. Rushing forwards, they threw a punch at the thief in front of them. Their zinc stores were decreasing quickly, and soon they'd have to start burning them.

Elsecaller fabrials. About half, they couldn't take any more.

Also, if that's the case, I can use the warp!

Crow growled heavily, then grabbed the Marine by the throat. You don't get to lead the Chaos Marines by being weak. He slammed his knee up into the mans stomach, then activated the EMP pulse. It rippled through the man. He shouted, bringing the blade down in force. He had watched his captives be stolen. He would get them back. One way or another. He jumped up, slamming the door down, He sprinted down the hallway, clangs echoing down the hallway. He pulled out a fabrial, ripping his way into the Cognitive Realm. He sprinted past strange creatures, like wolves. He slaughtered with his blade, his vision going red. Again he ripped back into the Physical Realm. Right behind Freedom. His voice rumbled like an earthquake. "You are mine." It became as cold as the void of space, and as dark. "I will make sure you never leave again."

Well, in that case:

Also, we can’t use warp because it is magic from another universe.

The Climbers all triggered their emergency esecallers fabrials, and all returned to the fight, abindining the brute in the cognitive realm. They went back to their slaughter of the theives.

:D

The Sentinels sent a spray of plasma and wiped out the theives. Then Redken charged at the marines, slashing them to bits with his katana shardblade, killing them in single slashes. Thel destroyed them in a hail of plasma blades, and Walker ran around them, slashing his way through their armor, and destroying them with his modified floating hellgun. It was the one Atticus had used in their duel, and Walker got it from his will. He ran back and said, “So, having fun?” To Melody.

The gun has the same floating treatment as his sword and uses a series of electricity some to power itself. Dusk made it for him.

The Black Guard and the Jackal brutally destroyed the Berserkers, but the Black Guard were still severely out numbered and they were falling one by one. Soon they had lost 50 of their number and their captain cut his way to the Jackal.

“Jackal! We’re losing to many men! If this keeps up the Network will have to pull out or we will face unrecoverable losses!” Captain Stringe yelled.

“I warned you! You shouldn’t have brought the entire black guard! No matter! Form your men up around us! We’re going straight for the heart!” The Jackal yelled back.

Then a trio of supers, an Edge Dancer, twin born A pewter F steel, and an elf with invincible skin super strength and the ability to compermise structural integrity, charged at the pair of them. Six more Black Guards came into the battle. The Radiant charged at The Jackal and Stringe, and the twin born and epic each took three Black Guard.

The epic grabbed the breastplate of the first soldier, and cracked it in a mocroscopic pattern across the front, and then punched it with his other hand, shattering it, and caving in his chest in the process. He swung around and hit the flat of the blade of another guard, before grabbing the face plate of the third guard, and sent microscopic cracks through it, and crushed his head. Then guard two’s shard blade peircrd him directly above the waist, and he swung around to grab his neck. The Guard drove his shard blade up, and his neck was crushed at the same time that the blade cut through his chest.

The twin born had a shardblade and he hit one guard in the neck with super speed pewter strength, cracking the neck plate, and then swung around and drove the point of his blade at the chest of guard number two, driving him backwards, cracking several gemstones in the process. The third swings his blade down, and it’s blocked by the twinborns who then flips the sword off and decapitates the first one. The second one swung at his side and he blocked the blade with his shardblade, and then slid it across the blade and drove it forwards, pericing his heart. Number three drove his blade into twin borns side and said twin born responded by swinging himself around on the bald, peircing himself more in the process, ensuring his death, and drove his blade through the eye slit of number three.

Edge dancer swung his blade hard at the backs of stringed neck, and it was easily blocked by the captain. The captain swung his blade around and swung his shardblade into the edge dancers side and he slid around behind him, driving his blade into the back of Stringe. The armor cracked, and then the Jackal smashed his staff into the back of the shard plate. Edge dancer threw some vine seed at Stringe and sent the surge of growth throw them and stick him in place for the time being. The Jackal rammed him and he turned around and slashed his shard blade at the Jackal. He responded by bending his back and the shard blade went over his face. A pair of berserkers attacked both the Jackal and the captain. The captain forced his way out of the vines and dismantled the bereserker, but the Edge dancer hit him in the side with a shard axe, smashing the shardplate, and then two more berserkers started hammering him. He destroyed them, and the Jackal was busy fighting twelve berserkers, and he was almost done destroying them, but the Radiant rammed a shard knife into the captains side, right before the Jackal jumped on his back and drove the half’s of his staff into the eye skit, and the six inch long obsidian blades pierced his brain, killing him. The captain was on the ground dying. Two more guards came over and knelt be side him, as he died.

“Jackal... You’re... In charge... Don’t let us die... the Network has to survive...” he said, on his dying breath.

”Yes. I will make them survive,” The Jackal said. He looked up, “Form the Black Guard up. We’re going straight for the heart,”

If you killed all the marines, then that means Dwig's the only one left on the roof.

Dwig watched the rest of the fighters get cut down from his steel powered hover. It was sad, true, but nothing he wouldn't get over in the next minute or so. He extinguished his steel and dropped onto the roof, landing in a crouch. Stsanding up, he put away his rifle and pulled out a handful of nails. He smiled, looked Walker in the eyes, and Pushed the nails at him.

"Old school, I know, but effective." Dwig shouted to Walker.

Melody opens her eyes, releasing her control, it didn’t seem to be having an effect anyway. “I guess you could say that.” She responds.

KoTiel grabbed the head of the man in front of him, smashing it into the floor, cracking his skull. Immediately they moved on the the person behind him, and smashed their fist into their chest. Pulling it back out again, they saw Dwig land on the roof. They analyzed the pattern. Steel. Smiling, they rushed at them, jumping off the roof to tackle them in mid-air.

No. That isn't funny. I told you I would fight you, but it has to be fair. You adding overwhelming odds to this violates the agreement.
