I have discovered the law of holidays, sticks first law of forum communication:

the closer one is to a holiday, the less frequently you must be on, as others are on trips or something

I don’t know. I’m bored.

But I’m also winning!

edit: for at least an hour.

Cool, I'll share it with you too. If you and Xino want to RP too we can make a PM and I can share what I've got of the plot so far...?

Pros to living in an apartment full of college students: get to see really dumb shenanigans. Money can't buy this quality entertainment.

Cons to living in an apartment full of college students: sometimes the shenanigans are loud, and at ungodly hours of the night. Nobody here sleeps.

Ha, examples?

Right now by the pool they are playing three different songs. Each one is a different genre of music. There are two people making out in the pool. The people above me are also playing loud music, and throwing beer bottles off the balcony. There's a kid waiting down there with a shopping cart. It's like basketball, except the ball is made of glass and coming down at you at a high rate of speed.

Wow. This is discouraging me from going to college. I'm sorry you have to put up with that...

Meh. I'm used to it now. It depends on where you're living too. I'm not in a dorm, but an apartment that is geared to college kids (mainly upperclassmen). It is also poorly managed.

I think it depends on where you go to college. BYU, for example, is probably much better about that kind of stuff.

Dixie state, however, has a 100% acceptance rate, meaning that they literally let in anyone.

Yeahh I'm at a party public school in Texas. That tends to attract an interesting crowd.

In addition there's a company that rents electric scooters here. It's a nightmare. I'm always finding them in weird places. Once found one in the elevator. Once found four right outside my door. Once found one in the library basement.
When TTU won the semi-finals for basketball, some kids lit some on fire and rode around on them.

*taps nose knowingly*

Ah, thanks, Luna. I don't want to kill anyone today.

I can also just go the straight up bribe method and slip a couple of $20s in the test when I turn it in...

At this point I'll do anything. I have an almost perfect 100 right now. This final is worth 40% of my grade. If I mess it up and it drops my grade to a B I will revolt.

Hmm, maybe I'm not the best person to be talking to - I'm the type who would go "I fail this test and I still get a B? Braize yes, spike this thing! No more stress - not from this, at least!"

Posted

Ha! Used to be like that. But I also like this sweet 4.0 gpa.

Harmony, some kids just set off firecrackers at the pool. I'm. Why.

At the pool or in the pool? (Oh yeah, it's Independence Day...)
