Ah yes, the curse of the TBR.

I avoid it by making it amalgamous and only ever re-reading books.

...I've been in a reading slump lately.

Sure. I'm a moderate enjoyer of non-Brandon books.

The Kingfountain series.

It is similar to brando sando writing, like long with politics and religion and cool worldbuilding.

the first book is called the Queens poisoner, and there are more details in my About Me, the books section. :)

Ooh.

I'll see if I can give it a look at some point.

OCTOPODS?

Sometimes I love English.

Sometimes and only sometimes.

full disclaimer, it's probably not correct, but my brother and I call them that.

As a latin student, I refuse to belive anything but an -i ending is the correct plural for -us.

If I can recommend a book I HIGHLY RECCOMEND The Will of the Many, 10/10 book.

yeah it is never outright stated in the first book.

Neil Gayman and terry pratchet were going to write a second one in which they officially got together, but terry prachett died. since then, Neil gaymen has stated that they wrote Crowley and Aziriphel togethor.

AND I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

like the good omens animatics on youtube..... the shipping is real. and confirmed. so yeah

Project Hail Mary is a pretty good Sci-Fi, and I know some people who like the Three Body Problem

Both very good books.

The Three-Body Problem series is...disturbing though. Good, but not for everyone.

I've heard very good things about it. I read the first little bit once, but I must have been distracted by other stuff because it didn't hook me. I'l definitely get around to it one of these days, because everyone is saying it's incredible.

I'm also a roman history nerd/latin nerd so that's part of what drew me in to it. Just a heads up, the pronunciation guide is wrong if we're not using church latin which wouldn't be accurate. Yes it's fantasy, but still. The protagonist's name is pronounced Wees, not Vis/Vees. It means strength in latin.
