Dusk saw Hellbent's base through the observers camera. He launched a class 10 missile to fly out of atmosphere and land on it. It would arrive in an hour.

Mejin stood directly outside of the healing tent, pacing back and forth. The fact she was even here was progress for her, but that didn't mean she had to like it. From how it was looking, most of the violence was occuring overhead and through large flying projectiles. That wasn't good. That meant not much regard for life.

Mejin sighed. Why was she here again? Right. To try and be a decent person.

It nagged her constantly that these two sides had just dived into war with no concern for the damage they might cause. Mejin had picked to side with Dusk since he seemed more reasonable, though now she wasn't sure. Both sides were seeming pretty ridiculous.

Taking a deep breath, Mejin brushed back a strand of hair reluctantly. There really was nothing she could do besides try to reduce casualty count.

The shields of the Fiend held. It looked at the fleet and sprayed 1 million of its 3 million class 2 missiles at them. It continued its march towards Alleycity.

This flawed tactic allowed the eagles to fly over the fleet and drop their payload. Half of the class 2 missiles hit the Destiny's bounty and the other half were shot back.

The fiend used it's ground based point defence weapons to attempt to destroy the attacking ground forces.

Hellbent clicked a button, activating the tanks super Aon shields. These shields were the same as the ones that had protected the canton of combat from thermonukes. And it extended to take the whole blow.

Then Hellbent stood, soulcasting an iron pole under him.

"Run and you'll live -- at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take OUR FREEDOM!!!"

Hellbent jumped down, shameless of his stealing of a speech.

Zaren Mentiz dropped a coin and SHOVED. The force shot him upward with far more force than man without pewter could reasonably handle. A well aimed Pull allowed him to land lightly next to Mejin.

“Hey.” He dropped another coin and again bounded into the air. Slight maneuvers of metals landed him right next to Dusk, who still had the Elites surrounding him, protecting him.

“Dusk. Do you need any assistance?”

"Your late. Hellbents gone. Will get him next time." Dusk took an intercom. "All forces. We cannot win a battle of armies. All come on board the Fiend. We need to get to Alley city as soon as possible. We will beat them there." The entire army moved into the belly of the fiend so they could escape. This boot the Fiend in a mildly volvurenable position. It can still protect itself.

Ark arrived. Ark was a demon of fire, a demon that used to be an Ent. He was still in the stickquisition though, so he would fight for Hellbent. Ark stood next to the stickquisitor, holding his stickblade at the ready.

Dusk used the Fiends anti fire system to shoot a massive blast of high pressure(100pd) water at the massive stick demon. It seemed like the logical thing to do.

The said massive stick demon was luckily still protected by the Aon shields, so nothing happened.

A stickquisitor stabbed the first, then tried to attack the rest.

A squad of prowlers came by and saved them before jumping on the Fiend and staying on as it ran away at full speed.

Althea thought about Ko Tiel's offer for a moment. It sounded like a trap. Then she nodded hesitantly, it would probably be faster than using Shadesmar. And she got to see something new. If it was a trap, then so be it, she would take that risk.
