Walker ran back to the Fiend. He saw Dusk. "We can't beat them. That tank's shield is to strong. We need the orb!"

"You know we need to use that on Hellbent. We kill him the alliance falls apart," Dusk responded, "Also, we can board it and take it over after we kill him."

"They're ghostbloods! How do you expect to do that?" Walker responded, "I'm not a god!"

Hellbent wanted to fight, but he knew he had to make sure his defeat wouldn't ruin everything.

"All True Alley members, I have a message."

All the headsets started playing it.

"If I fall, Dwig Jigdens takes my place. Dwig, if this happens, make sure to avenge me."

Then he leaped into the battle, wearing a glittering set of shardplate, coated in aluminum.

Hellbent landed on top of one sentinel from behind, and ripped his head off.

Angry, a black aura began to surround him.

"My name is Anthony Nightshade. You killed my son. Prepare to die."

The Super Lifeless surrounded sentinel with a heavy Plasma cannon. He fired it at Hellbent chest, trying to break the armor.

How did you get that shard plate?

Killed a Rosharan. Hellbent has had it this whole time, he just normally prefers unarmored fighting.

Hellbent jumped, shardplate giving him strength, and touched the gun and the person, soulcasting the man to iron, and the gun to air. Then he sliced through the Super Lifeless.

Smiling feraly, his eyes glowed red.

"I will kill you, and I will love it. Come and face me."

Quote

This is possible, shown by Jasnah soulcasting the thieves.

"Hey Walker, I need you to say these words." Dusk handed Walker a peice of paper. "Memorize those. Say them when your about to lose. Oh, and ne last thing, Don't die. Go break that shardplate."

Walker ran down and tried to hit Hellbent in the chest with is enhanced katana at supersonic speeds that he can't possibly block. Then after he tried to do this he might slip on a kids banana peel and land in a slide plank.

You have to remember, that is like going at enhanced time. The sword is going to do more damage than a regular hit, the difference is I can't block it.

Hellbent felt a blow hit his chest, but not strong enough to actually break the plate. Hellbent knew he had to get rid of that. So he, soulcast a wall around Walker, at the same time touching him. He used his power as a leecher to steal all of the metal reserves he was tapping, and get rid of any metal he was burning. He only has so much steel.

Walker's sword is enhanced. It does more damage than a regular sword because it is magical enhanced. Think of it as 60% the power of a shard blade. With Aons that I have in mind it jumps to 95%, but right now it is stuck at 60%.

Walker shot hellbent in the chest with a Devastator. While this was going on prowlers had surrounded hellbent and were preparing to fire on him.

Yeah, I know. It wouldn't do much to shardplate, but where you hit you destroyed the aluminum.

Hellbent soulcast, leaving an iron wall in front of the bullet. As they were still in the box, he soulcast a huge rock to drop on Walker.

Posted

Walker kicked of the wall and back handspringed out of the way of the rock. He jumped on a customized prowler and used a gravity fabrial to attempt to crush Hellbent's helmet. All the other prowlers guns jammed.

Even without speed Walker is an Incredibly good fighter. He could pull this off.

I am factoring in your luck. I'm just doing what I thin would be most immediately advantages for you.

Okay, I guess. He isn't at maximum level, like he was during the duel, so that works.

Hellbent felt his helmet starting to be crushed, so he pulled it off, but as he did, the gravity fabrial hit it and broke. Hellbent summoned his own shardplate helmet, from the fact that he was a full lightweaver. His aluminum covered one dropped to the ground.

"Let's dance."

He soulcast a huge bronze dome out of the air, surrounding it with thich iron, and covering the top. It became a stadium.

"This is how I fought Devaan. And I doubt you are at his level."

A massive translucent blue shield slammed into place over Destiny's Bounty, shielding it from the blast. Dwig slammed both of his hands together above his head, then pulled them apart, calling for the heavy armor. Off of one of the ships, a figure came sailing down and landed in front of Dwig. It was his heavy armor. It opened up, the helmet retracting upwards. Dwig smiled despite himself. This armor was the latest in his attempts to create the ultimate battle suit. It was Shardplate, covered with inch-thick aluminum and stuffed with as much weaponry and tech as would fit. He stepped in, the suit slotting into his power armor. The suit closed up, locking in. Dwig growled, looking towards the mass of troops retreating towards the Feind, it was time to make the donuts.

The Fiend blew a massive hole in the side of it.

How are you using so much Stormlight? Are you using your Metalminds?

Walker used his fabrial to attempt to rip Hellbent's chestplate off. Walker's scabbard broke. Walker's sword floated by his side.

Quote

To be clear, this is trying to rip it off by puling on the chest peice, while pushing on the portion in the back

Dusk looked at the weird guy in armor. "Shoot him with say, 2 class sevens." He said to the gunner.

Hellbent has stored huge amounts in his armor, and in other places. Also, when will the Alleystorm arrive? And I am tapping some of my metalminds.

Hellbent threw his shardblade at the fabrial, the chestplate still holding. He threw hard, and he threw true, and it broke the fabrial.

The fabrial replaced the grenade launcher in the prowler, Also, that is god modding. I'm going to say that you attempted to large your shardblade into his throat.

The prowler used it's favrial to fling the shard blade into ground. The other prowlers all blew up in a very bright explosion.

"Not in the Ghostbloods."KoTiel said. "True enough. I guess I never really liked them, though I think it was mostly because of Razhien, their old leader." Suddenly, they heard Hellbent's announcement. "I see. I wonder if he thinks he's going to die,"  they said thoughtfully, then paused. "Hey," they suddenly said. "Are you people planning on following Dwig if Hellbent dies?"

@Sorana, @I think I am here..

"True Alley! I do not want to fight you!" Dusk yelled through his intercom, "After Hellbent is dealt with I will be completely open to negotiations! Dwig! Let us fight Hellbent! Stay out of it!"

Wood, you wouldn't know about the announcement, so that post doesn't make sense, it was put directly in True Alley members ears.  Also, that wasn't godmodding. I just said I broke a fabrial.

Max looked at the two people next to him, the Kandra and the Ghostblood woman. He gladly accepted the woman’s hand up and considered her questions.

“No, thanks,” he said. “I’m not really that hungry. I’m thirsty as rust, though. Anyway, as for where everyone is, I really would have no idea. I sorta just joined this war thing a short while ago.”

He turned to the Kandra.

“Full disclosure: I’m not really following Hellbent to the tee either.  Sure, it’s a war, but I’m not here to be caught up in other people’s fights just because I feel like it. Unnecessary fighting is how I lost Mara, and I’m not too keen on reliving the experience with someone else.”

He realized He was Rioting the duo subconsciously, Rioting comfort and relaxation. Of course he was. Rioting was like second nature for Max. Obviously, it wouldn’t have any effect on the Kandra, though.

But Kandra has spikes. And Max could control people with spikes. So if Max could just -

His thoughts were interrupted when the Ghostblood woman took off her sunglasses and revealed her eyes, crystalline red in colour. Fortunately, Max’s visor blocked anyone else from seeing his face of shock.

“That’s... that’s cool, I guess. Red eyes. I knew another guy who had red eyes, ya know? Except they sorta glowed red, and I didn’t really know him more than I sorta chopped his head off when we were fighting. Yeah... he was a Voidbringer.”

Realising he wasn’t helping the situation, Max quickly shut up, giving a thumbs up to the woman.

Dusk showed up with his teleporter. “Here,” he said, “These are one shot teleporters. They can bring you anywhere, cognitive or physical. The implode when they’re done being used. You can thank me by staying out of the war. By.” He left.

You're invading the Alleycity? This is not going to end well.

Fabrials are unlikely to work on a Shardblade if you're using it directly.

Was Ark godmodding?

I will factor that in.

Edit to former post: The prowler leaped to the side and easily dodged the shardblade.

Quote

Actually, I took position in Alleycity to stop the use of weapons of mass destruction.

Also, Ark, he was yelling at the guy who was obviously second in command and had just put on the most powerful set of shardplate ever.

It's borderline, describing what happens to an object that belongs to another person would usually be discouraged, especially if it's currently being held by that person as that falls under an attack against that person so they should have the chance to dodge. (But dodging every attack that comes your way is also not great form, allowing q in every three or four hits to go through is generally accepted practice unless there is an extreme skill gap that could justify one character overwhelming the fight)

Well the last time someone tried to take position in the alleycity, the Phoenix was released and the city was thermonuked. Might not be the best way to prevent the use of WMDs

Sigh, yep. Dunno if you know, but the last time someone tried to do what you're doing we spent 16 years rebuilding.

Max held onto the teleporters Dusk gave him. They were one-time use, and there were only three of them, one for each of the people here. Max turned back to the woman and the Kandra.

"So what's our game plan here? Do we escape? Or do we fight that... Fiend thing?"
