Hi everyone.  I’m 100k words into the 2.0 draft of my WIP (which is shaping up to be no less than 250k words in the end) so I’ll never not have something to submit. Whenever there is room for the newbie please include me, but I totally understand if I get pushed for someone with more seniority. I’m just happy to be a part of the group and hope my amateur insight can help everyone at least a little bit.

@hawkedup have you emailed @Silk to get on the list serve? You won’t be able to submit until doing that and getting Silk’s confirmation. Also note that newbies always get priority!

Speaking of submitting, could I get on the docket for next week, the 27th? I'll be on vacation that week, but will try my hardest to critique everything. I may be a few days late though.

I'm also going on vacation that week! Enjoy!

Arrgh. I was hoping to submit tomorrow because I'm subbing to Angry Robot again. Deadline is the end of May.

I'm unclear if there are five already for tomorrow? If not, I'd like to submit.

If it's full up I can step out for the week, @Robinski

Not sure how strict the rule is but my best days to critique are Sat/Sun and my worst days are Mon/Tues. So, if anyone wants to submit a bit early... :)

We aren't super strict about this, especially since submissions are already staggered by nature with many of us in different time zones. Also, you can critique the following Saturday/Sunday if you prefer, and you'll even still be within that week's submission cycle! There's certainly no expectation that we respond to critiques as soon as they come out.

Great! What are you writing? Out of curiosity, I mean. Not because I'm demanding or anything, I was just curious what to expect.

My writing so far has been short stories. (I have an idea for a novel, but I haven't really started outlining yet, let alone actual writing.) Most of what I write falls under the general umbrella of fantasy, but the story I'm focusing on right now is sci-fi.

If no one else wants a slot next week (6/10), I'll take an open one. If there are others who want in, I can wait--I don't mind. Basically, if there are five other people who want to submit I can drop off to make room, but if there's an empty slot I'll take it.

Hey everyone, I'm going to be cross-country for a conference this weekend and will probably be checking the forums late if at all on Sunday, you may want to self-manage for this week :)
