So right now Perses is working on expanding his and Belias’ influence, pushing into the Sphere and Mistkeep. He has his own reasons for doing so, but would likely not share those with even a business partner. Perhaps Ebon could work on getting his teeth in the Sphere’s underground?

Hoid Slayer He/Him Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Alright, what the New Hallandren Guard would know about Ebon and the Crimson Breath: Quote The Crimson Breath has been present underground for an undetermined period, but only truly became an active threat roughly a year ago. Unlike other gangs, they don't tend to fight over territory, instead seeming focused on the acquisition of resources, raiding both underground facilities and official storehouses. Little is known about them, as they don't have the largest public presence, but they are known to be bigger than they first seem. Their funding is not known, but there is an investigation into the possibility that they are being funded by an Alleycity/New Hallandren higher-up for how well they are able to gain access to resources and arms while so well hidden. As for Ebon: An unidentified male nex-im has been spotted at multiple encounters with the Crimson Breath, always fighting against them, always fleeing shortly after the arrival of authority. I'm willing to RP an investigator obsessed with uncovering the truth about Ebon, tying him to an unidentified nex-im active in the Sphere underground (where he often undertakes missions for Perses) and a Husked One that gained some notoriety in the Mistwarrens for a couple weeks a year ago before suddenly vanishing (when he first arrived in the Alleycity). @Koloss17 1

Something about New Hallendren and something called the "Crimson Breath." I tried looking through the topics, but I still don't quite understand the situation. Can someone give me a quick rundown? Also, does anyone have any ideas where I could go with my character (Aradan), or who I could collab with? Char below. Spoiler Name: Aradan Liese Appearance: A tall, dark haired man of around twenty five years. Though not clearly muscular, Aradan clearly has a fair amount of physical strength. He sometimes can be seen in mistcoat augmented with leather armor and a steel breastplate or a brown suit. Fingers glittering with golden rings, he frequently uses a long, black shafted spear/quarterstaff composed of ash augmented with stone bands down the length in combat. He often carries a rifle on his back or a shotgun on his belt. In addition, he's crafted a makeshift grappling hook from one of his older pistols to use with Allomantic Iron. Affiliations: None Personality: Naive, but can often be unintentionally intimidating, even with friends. Often tries to be generous and helps those he can. Reaps great joy in terrifying those he sees as criminals, bandits, and villains. Very down to earth and, while not overly idealistic, attempts to deal his justice and get revenge on those who deal injustice. Despite betrayal, he remains amicable and actively seeks out friends, even if they might betray him. Has a flair for the dramatic. Concept: A brutalistic, Allomantic, Batman/Robin Hood figure. Family and Friends): No significant relationships at the present moment, other than a mysterious stranger who gave him food and water. Home Planet: From Elendel on Scadrial Current Residence: Aforementioned alley is in the Mistwarrens, luckily it's well lit (not a dark alley). Backstory: Orphaned at a young age as his parents were killed by thieves in a gang war. They were originally taken hostage, but mishandling of the situation led to their deaths. Left Elendel years later to the Southern Roughs to seek justice and escape from the city. He was taken in by a group of local "constables" (thugs). Though he initially believed they were legitimate lawmen, he eventually discovered their activity. When he confronted their leader, he was told that the only reason he was allowed to live was because of his parents' criminal connections (prior to this, he believed they were upstanding citizens taken for ransom from the Elendel Constabulary) and ended up left for dead in the mountains to the south. Going in a random direction, Aradan stumbled upon a crashed Malwish ship. Finding the aforementioned medallion in the wreckage, Aradan continued his trek along until accidentally reaching Harmony's perpendicularity. Deliriously, (hadn't had food or water for some period of time) he entered the perpendicularity. He then collapsed, finding himself in Alley City, subconscious pewter burning and a kind stranger's supplies having kept him alive. Loose ends (What is unfinished in their life?): No feeling of closure on parents' deaths, their criminal pasts (which he's still unsure of whether to believe), or the betrayal by phony constables. Aradan also wants to find the person who brought him to Alley City and gave him food and water.

Basically, a Fused named Ebon attacked a facility belonging to the Crimson Breath (an organization that little is known about, though you can see some details on Hoid Slayer's last post on this thread.) However, the building got blown up by an anti-Investiture bomb, vaporizing an area within New Hallandren (the Nalthian district.) A bunch of people came to the crater to see what was going on, and now the Nalthian guard has arrived and arrested most of them, except for a few who ran for it. That should pretty much be all you need to know to get started, especially since it looks like your character is new to the city and wouldn't know anything anyway. I have a couple characters who are not currently involved in a plotline. I believe @Mistfallen Soldier is also looking for someone to collab with. (Also, I just remembered I forgot to get back to you, Mistfallen. Sorry.) So, there's three of us who could potentially work together. Give me a minute to look over your and Mistfallen's characters and see if any ideas come to mind. EDIT: Okay, so, here's my thoughts so far. @Qianweilian Your character might get along with my character Thav. The full character sheet is here if you want to take a look, but if you want a quick rundown, Thav is a Twinborn mercenary who is currently looking for the people who killed his friends. He is a fairly friendly sort, so he might help Aradan if they ran into each other. @Mistfallen Soldier My other unoccupied character, Fenna, could potentially interact with or work with Saituku. Saituku seems a bit more ruthless than Fenna currently is, but she's kind of leaning that way and they might be able to get along if they had a reason to work together. (Fenna's sheet is here if you need it for reference.) If you wanted to start by just having them run into each other and see where it goes from there, that would work with me. So, that's what my thoughts are currently. These are just offers, so you're of course both perfectly free to suggest other arrangements or find someone else entirely--I wouldn't be offended.
