I second this whole heartedly. There's so many horrible things that could happen to Resh and crew that they'd be absolutely powerless to stop and that's quite fun.

In terms of plot things. I don't know whats happening. I have it on at least above average, if not good, authority that no one else knows either. I think literally everyone is in the Hospital thread, and they are all playing around each other. Not sure how that is gonna play out to be honest, but depending on how it does, various new threads might pop up.

Okay but an Epic called Quota who limits the amount that you can do random crap in a day? Decent idea. Like this person just walks up to you and is like "your quota of shrugs for the day is now five" and then you can't anymore. Could get OP if used certain ways, but sounds fun lol

Yeah, that would be where it gets tricky, you'd definitely have to implement more limits.

Now where did all this DA activity come from? The Alleyverse certainly* can't have been a ploy to lure other people in to slowly spike out their activity for ourselves.  

@mathiau Could you direct me where I should look for Aylitha destroying the Scholar's Guild? I don't really remember enough of that to answer from Emily's perspective. Just the page and maybe the season and year if you remember would work.

As for playing powerful vs. weaker characters, I have always found that the interactions between them to be the most fun. Like an ancient cosmically powerful organization having to deal with the minutia of accounting (love Ronald @MacThorstenson), or a normal person interacting with a cosmic being. It's part of why I like the Cosmere and and the Alleyverse - you get characters like Ishar and Raboniel alongside ones like Teft and Steris. Emily is one of my favorite characters to write for that reason. 

@AonEne I'm a math person, so I read that sentence and was like, yeah, exactly my experience. Why would I want to describe things without math? It makes relationships between things so much more clear. However, I understand I'm unusual in that regard. Not quite eldritch blood sacrifices odd, though.

And the correct answer to the above question is obviously everyone, but the more interesting question is how long can everyone last and keep the eldritch gods happy? That's the real task.

Sometimes I wonder if it was a mistake to play a Lawful Good character in this RP. When I created Aln I was pretty new to role-playing, so I wanted a character that would be in my comfort zone - but a pacifist nerd with anxiety doesn't quite fit in this world of gods and monsters. 

Also if Lovecraft was scared of math does that mean that all math counts as Eldritch Math?

I think the contrast of Aln with her surroundings is a fun dichotomy, but you’re always welcome to roughen her around the edges, perhaps edge her more towards the Neutral camp. Or make a new character that’s just as ruthless as the city requires
