Just got my delivery for Death Masks, Blood Rites, and Dead Beat by Jim Butcher!  Im going to be reading Oathbringer first though to make sure I finish it before Rythym of War next month.  After I finish it, I'll be digging into the Dresden books.

Outside of those I also recently picked up a 25th anniversary edition of The Legend of Drizzt.  That contains the first three novels in the series.  Looking forward to digging into that at some point in the near future too!

Picked up two more Dresden books for me, the first Dresden book for my fiancé, and the first nicci chronicles book on clearance hardcover from B&N.  I love their cheap hardcover section.

Bought SLA 4 in TX today.

Dude, you're soooo behind schedule, bro!

Though I feel bad the most for those who must wait for Christmas because of foolish gift giving traditions!

That's right! I keep forgetting about that, being in a landlocked state. ;)

Spoiler

Though I really shouldn't pook fun, I will be moving to a coastal state within the year that seems to be having flooding problems right now.

It was yesterday, but I FINALLY picked up Fires of Vengeance by Evan Winter and A Sky Beyond the Storm by Sabaa Tahir yesterday.

I won't read them anytime soon because I'm so busy and still in my reading slump (Sanderson is always an exception to that slump), but at least I have them.

Finally got my hands on that nifty edition of Dune with the teal pages. Also picked up Elements of Eloquence by Mark Forsyth upon recommendation.

Last week I bought the latest Bryant & May mystery, Oranges and Lemons.

I'm also re-reading the "Ex-Heroes" series by Peter Clines & discovered that I don't yet own book 4 (must've read it from the library), so that will be my next purchase.

Note: Both these book series have moderate swearing and other stuff that makes them more of a "PG-13" rating. I am old (hence my user name, LOL), but I know lots of my fellow Sharders are younger & I want to be sensitive to that. I love how our community is so diverse! in every way! I learn so much from everyone all the time - helps keep my brain young!:D

I've encouraged them to read far worse

Speaking of which, I've bought Los abismos and Medio siglo con Borges by a Mario Vargas Llosa who you may recognize as the author of nothing because of your obsessions with your Harry Potter's and Percy Jackson's and Rothfusses that are incapable of writing third books :P

Over the weekend I picked up:

His Majesty’s Dragon by Naomi Novik

Dark One by Brandon Sanderson

The Way of the Househusband Volume 1

I have a few comics I’ve backed on Kickstarter coming in later this year so I’ve got some of those to look forward to along with Cytonic.

Stopped by a local used bookstore and scored the following: a Japanese pocket edition of my church's hymnal, poetry of Robert Frost and Bayard Taylor, and a YA novel I got on a whim called Not Now, Not Ever. The Taylor book is at least 120 years old, too, and in surprisingly good condition for it! I'm quite pleased. :D

The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan. I have the classic, 90s cheesy cover, but I think I lent the book to a friend and haven't seen it in, like, two years. So, I bought the updated cover paperback version! WoT Season 1 and some other ideas inspired by WoT have really made me hungry for this book again, and I'm really enjoying it so far, even though I'm only about three chapters in. This book really highlights the difference between the book and the show, but not in a bad way. Books can get into detail and spend time on things that shows don't always have the luxury or financial freedom to do. As I'm reading this, I'm curious about how the show will be different, and I'm excited to see what those differences are.

Well, I actually bought (preordered) it a while back, but the final volume of We Never Learn arrived yesterday! And the best bit is the whole thing fits on one shelf! Took a quick read through the ending again and got a proper dose of feels. I love this series. :D

Not today, but quite recently; I bought Tales From The Perilous Realm!  It's a collection of Tolkien's non-Middle-earth stuff, like Roverandom and Farmer Giles of Ham.  I'm so excited to read it!

Bought Abercrombie’s latest 3 finally but it’s been way too long since I read the other 6 so I likely will be rereading those before. Meh I need to reread Mistborn E2 before taking on Alloy to..ugh

Also bought Pierce Browns Lightbringer. I will not need to reread 1-5 of those at present.

I really need to finish these last two WoT rereads. Who knows how long this will continue to take though..

Daughter wanted some blu block glasses off Amazon. Went ahead and ordered 2 more Guy Gravel Kay books. The Sarantine Mosaic. There is other books set on this world but these should be the 1st time period wise so I went with them. I’m not sure if there’s any connections between them all as they are all set like millennia apart. Very interested in the Viking one but it ll be quite awhile before I get that one.

I love GGK and I’ve only read Tigana a few years ago but it was excellent.

I bought the Kindle version of Batman: Beyond the White Knight and preordered the Kindle version of Batman Beyond: Neo Gothic. (Releasing June 11.) I've been on a Batman Beyond kick for the past year or so now, and I decided to check these two out. I liked Neo-Year last year, so I'm relatively excited for Neo Gothic next week. I'm not the biggest fan of the whole White Knight universe. Don't get me wrong, I love the concept of it and I love seeing elseworlds/multiverse/alternate universe stuff being fleshed out and explored, and I'm actually a big fan of the Bruce/Harley relationship, but it just never grabbed me the way it did others.
