Can someone tell me more about the worldspike? Why is it important right now, what powers it, and any general history or lore?

More lore will be added to our wiki when I have time but basically it's a spike that was has the stability of another universe inside of it, it's what allows the Alleyverse to continue existing.
Not sure why everyone always wants to get to it but Voidus guards it pretty closely because if bad things happen to it then the universe gets destroyed.

Titan looked around and realized he had no chance of getting in. They were in lockdown. He created a warp, teleporting to the location of Devaan. All of his horde came after. "Don't be afraid! I just want peace!"

Soul smashed through a building but made sure to land in a heroic pose that shot stormlight out in a ring of smoke.

”Alright you rusting piece of crem.” He cursed, looking back up at the bird. “Time to take away your healing power.” Lashing himself up again he darted around the flying avian demon looking for spikes to pull out.

@Voidus where are all the spikes located? I can see them right?

Devaan saw the hulking beast standing before him. He wanted peace? Devaan was hesitant, as every other DA abomination he has met has tried to murder him

“how can we be sure this isn’t some trick?” Devaan asked Titan

They're some not very large spikes in a very big bird, underneath a bunch of feathers. So going to be very, very hard to find. There's also 75 of them so unless someone was particularly experienced with Hemalurgy they'd have trouble telling one from the other.
She's also still on fire :P

"I, unlike others, have been spiked with intelligence. Lot's of it. More then some here." (looks pointedly at Bloodbath) "Like the Koloss, I was once a human. Recently, due to the strange storm, I have started to remember my human self. I am telling the truth. I would like to join the treaty. You can kill the rest. Just leave me and my horde. I will help you."

"Hey! My mamma did done learn me everythan' I know!" Bloodbath joked. Then, he stabbed Titan in the heel. "Just payback. And, y'know, the fact that I was created to destroy things like you. No hard feelings, just instinct. I am an idiotic animal, or so everyone thinks," he sullenly glared. He then said, "I am fireproof, y'know. I might be of some help for taking that birb out."

Gosh you guys, needing me when I'm supposed to be sleeping :P

when Rashan gave his speech

Rashan's words seemed filled with a great force. Storm considered what he said, it made him remember what they were really trying to accomplish. unity. Peace. That's what TUBA had been about. It had been about spreading safe cookies. It had been about making friends. But what had they become? A passive organization. They'd thought neutrality would be best. But it had accomplished nothing. They'd entered this war, out of necessity, they couldn't stand by as their city was destroyed. But they hadn't truly considered what part they played. Maybe it was time to bring unity and peace again..

present time

Devaan was calling for him, Storm turned around and saw him pushing through the crowd towards him.

"Yes Devaan? What is it?" Storm shouted to him over the noise, also making his way to meet him.

Everyone was busy working, the hustle and bustle around the camp was chaos, but an organized chaos. They did a marvelous job these lifeless- no not lifeless Tevarah thought. They were truly alive, and turned out a surprising number had done the work of surgeons before they died, then had helped the others who were not learned to understand. They were all extremely talented moving fast healing burns, splinting broken bones and even some complicated surgeries were done. Currently Tevarah was pouring over the map using his tactic skills to move through the city trying to get to the Canton the safe haven, he could help there.

Syen stepped a bit closer, despite the dire situation feeling light and happy. He had really told her, that she could help. There was something she could do, something despite running around and escorting people.
"If I can help, I'll stay."
She answered immediatly and and then hesitated:
"I'm no fighter. I do have medical training, but the moment someone tries to kill me I'm dead as soon as my stormlight runs out. But I think you guessed as much from the fact that I don't even have a weapon."
She was silent and saw Essun skip over the floor in front of her, urging her to continue speaking.
"I told some refuguees to go in this general direction, because I didn't know where to send them. That was before the message. So if you plan on going there, is there a possibility to take them?"
Essun sat on her foot as she fell silent again. Syen looked at her and closed her eyes for a moment. Sometime she wished, that she was braver when it came to a situation like this. It was easier when she was alone gathering plants, or looking after patients, too ill to speak. She always feared to say something wrong, to offend people. And from trying so hard not to do that, she usually did. Looking down at her feet she added:
"I don't know what you're planing, but with enough stormlight I could maintain an illusion to disguise your men. I would need a lot, and it wouldn't be as good as a smaller one I have more time to make, but it could work at least at a fleeting glance. Maybe changing the colours or the armour. Something like that."

“I will allow you with me. For now” Devaan told titan

”Storm. This war has gone on long enough, if the black crusade gives up territory they have forcibly occupied, would you be open to a peace treaty? There are bigger threats than each other right now, the Chaos has invaded, and there has been an abomination outbreak”

Devaan suppressed a wave of sadness

”Rashan wanted peace. I think we need to honor his request”

"Forcibly occupied"? We did nothing of the-

That's it, I'm done playing nice.

Drako pushed himself off the wall, striding towards the small group.

"The Black Crusade," he said, pointing directly at Storm, "is done with all of this crap. I'm tired of being made the villain. Our fight was against Solace, not you, or the Ghostbloods, or anyone here. And now my sons lie dead on your streets.

"Do I sound bitter? I hope to Damnation that I do, because it's your fault."

"DeVaan," he said, turning to go, "handle the negotiations. The Black Crusade is willing to comply with your wishes, but we're leaving this Emperor-forsaken hive."

Drako stormed away, drawing Flametongue from his back and igniting it. He needed to go kill some heretics*.

Veil eyes shot open, and the pain immediately started up again. He pushed himself into a sitting position and looked around what seemed to be a makeshift hospital. There were plenty of TUBA and Ghostblood soldiers in beds alongside his. Veil swung his legs off of the stretcher, and feeling slightly nauseous, went to the entry of the tent. Storms. A lot had happened since he'd passed out. Chaos marines were swarming within the city, and there were a couple monsters that he couldn't identify  Wanting to get involved again, Veil grabbed some charged spheres sitting next to his bed, and lashed himself towards a group of figures standing to talk amongst themselves. Veil soon alighted next to them and saw that the person was Devaan, talking with a ( @Ark1002, what're you playing right now?) strange creature. Veil nodded to Devaan as he alighted next to them, listening to his plan.

Naermen smiled. She was glad she was on the side of the giant flaming bird. she ran into a group of attacking TUBA people, then activated her Epic powers to teleport them into space. The beige cloud, activated by her inability to breath, took her back to safety on Earth. she drew the aon for Fire shortly afterward, frying more soldiers. She had been fighting for several hours, maybe even days.

The Investiture sustained her.

She looked around, now surrounded by friendly DA defenders, searching for an enemy.

She would fight until the worldspike was safe.
