Nameless ignored the mimes. He was merely protecting his own creation from other's assaults. He stood by his narration, and refused to budge. The mimes could not stop him.

Nameless's Narration echoed across the landscape, stopping everything in its tracks. Mime, character, Narrator- all froze where they stood as they felt the painful clash reverberate through their souls.

Excuse me, said Samuel in an even tone, manifesting himself from silence in front of Nameless. I think you'll find us harder to ignore than that.

Your own rules/guidelines for being a narrator say no retcons. It was clearly established that The Swords name was The Sword when I first received it. Sharp Pointy Stick is a definition of sword, so that's it's name.

Canon? said Samuel What canon? I see no canon here. He stepped forwards and poked Nameless in the chest. I see only words spoken by a soul desperate for recognition.

EDIT: that wasn’t The Sword, also you broke the retcon rule, and we never made The Sword, it was already there

The cloud flew up to them, and the guards stepped aside, barely glancing at the strange new visitor. The doors unsealed, revealing a long corridor, covered from floor to ceiling in complex murals. At the end there was an altar, and on that altar lay a sword. The cloud spoke: "This is the most powerful weapon in our collection. The sword above all swords, The Sword. It is the archetype of which all others are pale comparisons. A more powerful blade than this cannot be made. It grows in power each time a new sword is created. It is a blade great enough to burn kingdoms, to destroy planets, to cut universes." The cloud stopped, looking at Nameless. Nameless stared at the sword for a long time, then finally spoke: "It may just be enough."
